The Cowboys vs. Cardinals is a rare nationally televised late-night game. The Cowboys will be playing their second preseason game, while this will be the first for Arizona. Here is how you can watch the game, live stream options, start time, TV channel, and NFL odds.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals | Preseason Week 1
The Cowboys are coming into this game with questions remaining at the quarterback position. During the Hall of Fame Game, all of their backup options (Ben DiNucci, Garrett Gilbert, Cooper Rush) were quite disappointing. We will not see Dak Prescott in this one as he still recovers from a shoulder injury.
This will be the first time we see Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals this preseason, looking to build on what Kliff Kingsbury has put in place. Kingsbury has already confirmed that Murray will get some snaps, but don’t expect to see much of him. Instead, the rest of the game will be split between veteran backup Colt McCoy and last year’s second-stringer Chris Streveler.

After watching the Cowboys’ pathetic offensive performance in the Hall of Fame Game, there is no way I would put money on them in this one. There is a chance that we see CeeDee Lamb a bit in this contest, and Ezekiel Elliott might also take a few snaps, but they will not be in long enough to make a difference.
On the other side of the ball, Arizona will also only play their starters for limited snaps. Having seen what McCoy can do when given the opportunity, I think Arizona runs away with this one. The only confident play I could make at that point is on the under. Dallas could only muster a field goal last week, and I don’t expect much better this time around.
