The 2026 NFL offseason has already delivered several surprising reunions.
Aaron Donald returned to the Los Angeles Rams after retiring, while other familiar faces have also found their way back to former teams. So, when two-time Super Bowl champion Kyle Van Noy hinted that he could be next, Patriots fans immediately took notice.

ESPN analyst Sam Block recently joked about several veteran players returning to familiar surroundings, writing: “Odell Beckham Jr. is back on the Giants. Aaron Donald is back on the Rams. Geno Smith is back on the Jets. Your childhood ain’t over yet.”
Van Noy responded with a short but intriguing message: “Sooo then I know where I’m goin then.”
That was enough to send Patriots fans into a frenzy.
Van Noy spent some of the best years of his career in New England, helping the Patriots win Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LIII. His cryptic response immediately had fans wondering whether another reunion with the Patriots could be in the works.

Could Kyle Van Noy Really Return to the Patriots?
Van Noy spent the last three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens but confirmed earlier this offseason that he plans to return for his 13th NFL season in 2026.
That puts a potential reunion with New England in the realm of possibility, although there is nothing official connecting the veteran linebacker to the Patriots at this point.
His social media response could simply have been a joke inspired by the growing list of NFL reunions. Still, considering Van Noy’s history with New England, Patriots fans are understandably eager to believe there could be something more behind it.
For now, one thing is clear: the idea of seeing Van Noy back in a Patriots uniform has already got the fanbase excited.
