Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen took a jab at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the teams’ joint training session on Tuesday.
The Jaguars and the Bucs have two joint practice sessions this week before playing in their third and final preseason game at EverBank Stadium on Saturday.

The Jaguars defensive end highlighted the Buccaneers’ rushes during the training session on Tuesday.
“I keep seeing these one-on-one rushes from Tampa Bay, those good rushes, but the way we was doing them boys on that other field. MAN!!!!” Hines-Allen wrote on X.
Bucs fans on X took exception to the defensive end’s conclusion about Tampa’s rushes.
A ‘USA Today Sports’ analyst was curious to see how the Jaguars and Bucs’ training session on Wednesday would go after Hines-Allen’s comment.
“Ya now I’m interested to see how practice goes down tomorrow lol this is crazy,” the analyst wrote.

Another podcaster, Christopher Mathis, was shocked by Hines-Allen’s comment.

Hines-Allen had a distinguished college football career playing for the Kentucky Wildcats. He won numerous individual accolades, including the Chuck Bednarik Award, the Lott Impact Trophy, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, and the Jack Lambert Trophy. He was also a unanimous All-American and was named the 2018 SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
The defensive end was selected No. 7 overall by the Jaguars in the 2019 NFL Draft and quickly established himself as one of the league’s most lethal defenders.
Hines-Allen was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team and has earned two Pro Bowl nods in his NFL career.
Hines-Allen earned a PFN Edge Rusher Impact score of 80.2 (No. 23 in the NFL) and ranked No. 48 on the NFL Top 100 list. He tallied 49 total tackles (28 solo), 8 sacks, and 3 passes defended last season.
