The college football season is right around the corner, and what many people are talking about is new head coach Jon Sumrall at the University of Florida. He took the Gators job after leading Tulane to an 11-3 record last season.
This week, however, Sumrall is in the news for how he winds down when he’s not coaching. Sumrall’s wife was interviewed by Olivia Eisenhauer, where she mentioned that Jon loves pedicures.
ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky caught wind of this news and made it clear he does not support men getting pedicures.

While on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Orlovsky said, “I am completely against pedicures for dudes. You’re a dude, you’re not supposed to get pedicures.”

It was clear the Sumrall completely disagreed with this take, as he responded to Orlovsky with a hilarious picture. Sumrall posted this photo of Orlovsky holding a high-heeled shoe, and that was, seemingly, enough said.

Sumrall has shown plenty of personality both on social media and at his press conference heading into his first season coaching the Gators.
Over the past few seasons, the Florida football program has taken a step back, having suffered losing seasons in four of the last five. Florida is a blue-blooded football program, and Sumrall has been tasked with bringing them back to relevancy.
The Gators have the tough task of competing in the SEC this upcoming season, so they will have their work cut out for them each week.

No one is expecting Florida to compete for a spot in the college football playoffs. Having a winning record is something many of their fans would like to see. With how much player movement there is in college football, sometimes turning a program around can happen quickly.
CBS Sports projects the Gators to finish with a 6-6 record, losing games to six conference opponents, including Georgia, Texas, and Auburn. Depending on who you ask, the Gators’ projections will likely differ. But even in year one for Sumrall, he will be facing plenty of pressure to win.
