The ongoing civil legal battle between NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs and celebrity stylist Christopher Blake Griffith has taken another dramatic turn.
Griffith, who previously accused Diggs of allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting him during a May 2023 gathering before launching a subsequent physical attack, claims to have secured crucial new evidence.
Diggs has denied all allegations and previously filed a defamation lawsuit, alleging that Griffith fabricated the story to gain online notoriety. However, new court filings and reports indicate Griffith is pushing to expand his legal action against the veteran wideout as both sides continue trading explosive claims in court.
Stefon Diggs’ Accuser Drops New Update Following Alleged Sexual Assault
According to new legal filings reported by TMZ, Griffith claims to have uncovered key electronic records that bolster his allegations against the former New England Patriots receiver.
Griffith asserts that newly obtained phone records establish a direct connection between Diggs and an individual who allegedly physically assaulted him in his Los Angeles apartment building following the initial incident.
“Griffith, says he now has hard evidence proving the NFL star coordinated the L.A. beatdown on him,” TMZ reported. “Griffith says the phone logs also show Diggs made a call to the same assailant during the attack … and he says it’s from the moment surveillance footage showed the alleged assailant on his phone in Griffith’s apartment building,”

The alleged physical attack occurred in an elevator at Griffith’s residence shortly after the original altercation at Diggs’ Maryland home in May 2023. Griffith previously alleged that Diggs orchestrated the assault to intimidate him into silence after he rejected Diggs’ sexual advances.
Diggs’ brother, Darez Diggs, previously pleaded no contest to a felony grand theft charge stemming from the elevator incident and was sentenced to probation. Griffith separately filed a $10 million civil suit against Darez over the same incident, which he agreed to settle and drop this month; terms were not disclosed.
Beyond the phone record filings, Griffith is now seeking court permission to amend his counterclaims to address recent social media statements made by the wide receiver.

“Christopher also wants to add a claim of defamation against Stefon over a post he recently made on social media in which Stefon seemingly addressed the legal battle with Christopher, writing, “Mamas a (expletive) lying on my name because he got caught stealing,” the report further added. “Stefon added, ‘Trying to act like this (expletive) is a victim because he lying is crazy.’ Christopher said the message was defamatory.”
The social media statements mark a dramatic escalation in the public narrative surrounding the case. Diggs initially launched legal action in late 2025, accusing Griffith of defamation and claiming the stylist concocted the sexual assault story to boost his social media following and target Diggs’ lucrative corporate sponsorships.
Griffith responded with counterclaims alleging sexual battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
With both legal teams exchanging hundreds of pages of text logs, Instagram direct messages, and phone records during discovery, the civil case remains ongoing.
Diggs, a four-time Pro Bowler who remains a high-profile free agent, has denied all wrongdoing. No judicial ruling on the merits has been issued as both sides prepare for potential trial proceedings.
