As tight end Isaiah Likely left the Baltimore Ravens to sign with the New York Giants, the team has been left searching for more explosive talent on the outside. Tyreek Hill has become a logical target, with the wide receiver still available in free agency after the Miami Dolphins released him in February.
Ravens Urged to Sign Tyreek Hill After Isaiah Likely’s Departure
Hill spent six standout seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs before being traded to the Dolphins. Since his release from the Dolphins, he has been connected to several potential landing spots, including the Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, and Washington Commanders.
PFN’s Cooper Kleinberg identified the Ravens as a strong fit for Hill alongside Lamar Jackson. Kleinberg argued that Baltimore has long lacked a true elite receiving threat during Jackson’s tenure, making Hill an ideal addition.
“Zay Flowers is a talented young weapon, but he has yet to establish himself as a true No. 1 receiver,” Kleinberg wrote. “Meanwhile, Mark Andrews is entering his age-31 season, and Isaiah Likely departed for the New York Giants in free agency. Jackson and the Ravens have yet to agree on a long-term contract extension. In the meantime, Baltimore should do its two-time MVP a favor and add a proven playmaker like Hill.
“A trio of Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Hill would arguably be the most accomplished quarterback-running back-wide receiver combination in the NFL. The Ravens have struggled to get over the hump in recent years, but under first-year head coach Jesse Minter, Baltimore could be one of the league’s most dangerous teams entering next season if they bring in Hill as one final addition.”

Hill’s immediate future remains uncertain, as Bleacher Report’s James Palmer recently said there is no assurance the wide receiver will play in the 2026 season, calling expectations for his return “wishful thinking.” Palmer mentioned the devastating knee injury that ended Hill’s 2025 season, which involved multiple torn ligaments, as a major obstacle to his recovery and availability.
Hill is also dealing with an NFL investigation tied to domestic violence allegations made by his ex-wife. It is another factor that has complicated his free agent situation and slowed interest around the league.
However, Hill has insisted he has no intention of retiring. If he successfully completes his rehabilitation and returns later this season, Baltimore could become one of the teams interested in signing the veteran receiver.

When healthy, Hill is one of the most incredible playmakers the NFL has ever seen. He finished as the No. 1 receiver in PFSN’s WR Impact rankings for the 2023 season after totaling 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns across 16 games.
Hill has recorded 819 catches for 11,363 receiving yards and 83 receiving touchdowns while averaging 13.9 yards per reception throughout 10 NFL seasons and 145 regular-season appearances. Including rushing and receiving touchdowns, he has produced 90 total regular-season touchdowns during his career in the league.
