Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, has faced intense scrutiny ever since their relationship became public.
And ever since the Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini controversy emerged, the spotlight has shifted elsewhere, and Hudson appears to be taking notice.

The Vrabel-Russini controversy has dominated NFL offseason headlines ever since the New York Post published photos of the pair in April. While scandals involving high-profile NFL figures are nothing new, many fans have questioned what they see as a reluctance from major media outlets to fully address the story.
Some companies, including ESPN, have largely avoided discussing the controversy in depth, prompting criticism from those who believe there has been a double standard in the coverage. Among the more vocal critics is NFL writer and podcaster Tony Farmer and, more subtly, Hudson.
Hudson knows a thing or two about intense media scrutiny. Since her relationship with Belichick became public, she has frequently been the subject of tabloid headlines. Likewise, Vrabel and Russini have remained under the spotlight since April, with coverage from outlets such as the New York Post and TMZ showing no signs of slowing down.
Farmer, who has closely followed the Vrabel-Russini controversy, recently pointed out Hudson’s continued engagement with the story.

Among the issues Farmer highlighted were Russini’s role as an Associated Press NFL award voter, Vrabel’s 2025 Coach of the Year win, claims that Russini advised Vrabel during his coaching search, and allegations that she used her NFL contacts to help her avoid getting a ticket for texting while driving.
More than the alleged conflicts of interest themselves, however, Hudson appears particularly interested in the perceived double standard in the media’s coverage. Previously, she wrote of the scandal, “We’re not talking about this? Why not, @ProFootballTalk?“
Russini was employed by ESPN when the 2020 kissing photos were taken, yet the network has been silent and hasn’t opened an investigation into her work like The Athletic did. Farmer has repeatedly argued that ESPN’s relationship with the NFL may have contributed to their lack of coverage.
Farmer has also questioned ESPN insider Adam Schefter’s silence on the controversy and has speculated that Schefter’s business relationship with Patriots owner Robert Kraft could be one reason he has not addressed the story publicly.

Farmer has also questioned whether the network may have known about the relationship before it became public.
Regardless, Hudson has repeatedly appeared to criticize what she views as selective media coverage by liking several of Farmer’s posts. Her latest interaction is likely to fuel further speculation that she has taken issue with how her own relationship with Belichick was covered compared to the attention surrounding the Vrabel-Russini controversy.
Hudson’s thoughts on the situation are noteworthy given that she’s dating Belichick, who coached Vrabel from 2001-2008 on the Patriots and won three Super Bowl rings with him (and six total in New England).
How the Vrabel-Russini saga ultimately unfolds remains to be seen, but for now, Hudson appears to be following every new development closely.
