Who are the top remaining NFL free agents, and where will they land? Here's a look at 10 notable veterans who are still available.

It’s been three months since the NFL’s 2026 free-agency period got underway, yet there are still quite a few notable names who remain unsigned.

The 2026 NFL Draft is behind us, and now teams are focused on offseason minicamps. However, as injuries occur and teams realize their weaknesses, many of these veteran free agents will find a home.

Stefon Diggs, WR

2025 Team: New England Patriots

Stefon Diggs was released by the New England Patriots a week before free agency, and there are some off-field concerns for the veteran wide receiver. He recently had an assault trial, but he was ultimately found not guilty.

On the field, Diggs is still playing at an extremely high level. Last season, he ranked fourth in the NFL in PFN’s WR Impact metric despite coming off a torn ACL. Diggs is still super talented, so a WR-needy team will surely give him a shot eventually.

Potential Landing Spots: Titans, Commanders, Ravens

Marshon Lattimore, CB

2025 Team: Washington Commanders

Injuries have been a recurring theme in Marshon Lattimore’s NFL career, which played a big role in why the Washington Commanders released him prior to the start of free agency. Over his last four seasons, he’s missed a combined 33 games.

That said, when Lattimore has been healthy, he has played at a very high level. Before 2025, he was a top-20 cornerback in the NFL in PFN’s CB Impact Score in each of the previous four seasons. Even this past year, he finished as an average starter, ranking No. 36.

Potential Landing Spots: Chiefs, Steelers, Titans

Germaine Pratt, LB

2025 Team: Indianapolis Colts

2025 was a weird calendar year for Germaine Pratt. He started the year with the Cincinnati Bengals, but he requested a trade in February. Cincinnati released him in June, and the Las Vegas Raiders signed him the next day. However, he only played in four games there before they also released him.

It wasn’t until he signed with the Indianapolis Colts two days after his release from the Raiders that Pratt bounced back to his true self. He ended the year with 126 total tackles between the two teams, tying for third among all NFL linebackers with 10 pass deflections in coverage. He also had a career-low 5.4% missed tackle percentage this past year.

Pratt ranked seventh in PFN’s LB Impact Score last season. He’s still a very good football player and can help a team, even if last year was odd.

Potential Landing Spots: Titans, Jets, Bengals

Jadeveon Clowney, EDGE

2025 Team: Dallas Cowboys

Jadeveon Clowney is a pass-rush mercenary for hire, and he still does it at a high level. He’s played for seven teams over the last eight years, but he’s coming off an 8.5-sack season for the Dallas Cowboys and has reached that mark in three of his last five seasons.

Though Clowney missed a few games due to injury and stepped into more of a rotational role for Dallas, he ranked No. 15 in pass-rush win rate among edge rushers at 16.7%. Expect him to sign another one-year deal, but he’s still a quality pass rusher entering Year 13 of his NFL career.

Potential Landing Spots: Eagles, Patriots

Haason Reddick, EDGE

2025 Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Similar to the aforementioned Clowney, Haason Reddick has now entered pass-rushing mercenary territory, having played for five teams in the last six years. In 2025, he totaled 2.5 sacks and 34 pressures in 13 games for the Buccaneers.

Coming off of two disappointing seasons in a row, it’s very unlikely at this point that Reddick returns to the Pro Bowl form he had with Philadelphia. That said, among the 123 edge rushers who qualified for PFN’s EDGE Impact metric, he still ended the year above average, ranking No. 36.

Potential Landing Spots: Patriots, Cowboys

Deebo Samuel Sr., WR

2025 Team: Washington Commanders

After six years with the San Francisco 49ers, Deebo Samuel Sr. was traded to the Washington Commanders in 2025. He wasn’t the bona fide WR1 he used to be, but he still improved his numbers compared to 2024, catching 72 passes for 727 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Statistically, Samuel’s best days are behind him. A creative offense can still weaponize him as a versatile Swiss Army knife with his backfield capabilities, making him a potential low-risk, high-reward type of receiver.

Potential Landing Spots: Commanders, Chiefs, Ravens

Tyreek Hill, WR

2025 Team: Miami Dolphins

Having been released by the Miami Dolphins, Tyreek Hill is an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his illustrious career. At 32 years old with declining numbers, coming off a season-ending injury, and having the risk of issues coming up off the field, he is a risky player to sign to a multi-year contract.

However, in the four games he played before getting hurt, Hill was on a 17-game pace for 1,127 receiving yards. He was a first-team All-Pro and came in second for Offensive Player of the Year voting in 2023. A contending team could look to lure him on a one-year deal to see if he can get them over the hump, and the Chiefs would make a ton of sense given his history there.

Potential Landing Spots: Chiefs, Commanders, Ravens

Joey Bosa, EDGE

2025 Team: Buffalo Bills

In his first season away from the Los Angeles Chargers, Joey Bosa led the NFL with 5 forced fumbles and also tallied 5 sacks with the Buffalo Bills in 2025. Injuries have slowed him down, but he’s still a high-level rotational piece who would benefit a contending team as a late free agent signing.

Injuries and age are the big concerns with Bosa, as he’s missed 25 games over the last four seasons. That could lead some to think he’s a regression candidate, but after his 2025 campaign, he should still be treated as a high-end stopgap starter.

Potential Landing Spots: Bills, Chargers, Commanders

Bobby Wagner, LB

2025 Team: Washington Commanders

Since PFN started tallying positional scores in 2019, Bobby Wagner has been a top-10 linebacker in the NFL every single season. Those seasons don’t even include most of his “prime” years when he was a perennial All-Pro. Even turning 36 years old in June, he’s still an elite linebacker for a team in need of a band-aid solution.

The active leader in tackles with exactly 2,000 over his career, Wagner finished fifth in the league with an 89.7 LBi score in 2025 for the Commanders. He had an impressive 162 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, 2 interceptions, and 4.5 sacks.

Whenever Wagner becomes eligible, he’ll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He’s arguably the best linebacker of his generation, and he’s still a solid starter at this stage of his career.

Potential Landing Spots: Commanders, Broncos, Colts

Keenan Allen, WR

2025 Team: Los Angeles Chargers

While Keenan Allen is entering his 14th season in the NFL, don’t fool yourself into thinking that he’s no longer an impact player. Even at this stage of his career, he was a significant contributor last season after reuniting with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Among all NFL wide receivers, Allen ranked 13th in targets (122), 11th in receptions (81), 30th in receiving yards (777), and played all 17 regular-season games. He was the 55th-best wide receiver in the league according to PFN’s NFL WR Impact metric with a grade of 73.6. The six-time Pro Bowler is still a very good, reliable WR who can help a team that wants to upgrae its passing attack.

Potential Landing Spots: Commanders, Chiefs, Chargers
