The New England Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel, may be seeking counseling following the fallout from his alleged affair with Dianna Russini, but new reports continue to make life difficult for him both at home and within the NFL.
After a video went viral showing the duo on a boat trip while Russini was pregnant with her first child, former NFL defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko argues that the Patriots no longer have leadership.

Earlier this week, TMZ Sports reported that Vrabel and Russini had rented a private boat together in Putnam County, Tennessee, in June 2021.
The documents showed both Vrabel and Russini signed the company waiver. On Thursday, the outlet went further, publishing video footage from that day. The clip shows Russini walking ahead of Vrabel on the rental company’s dock with a baby bump clearly visible.
The footage has reignited questions surrounding Vrabel’s leadership, and Fehoko is calling on him to resign.
“Patriots have no leadership right now. Mike Vrabel should resign, he owes that much to the players in that room,” he posted on X.
In an earlier video on his YouTube channel, Fehoko added that he would feel disrespected if Vrabel remained head coach while he was in New England’s locker room.
“If I am a Patriots player… I’m expecting this man to lead me, lead my journey, lead my profession, lead me into putting food on the plate for my family when you can’t even get your own house in check,” Fehoko said. “Mike Vrabel, 30,000 lashes for your a**, just for that. That’s total utter bull**t.
“You should get another 20,000 lashes, Mike Vrabel, because you are on a boat with a pregnant wife, and she wasn’t even your wife. That’s so disrespectful.”
The alleged affair came to light in April when Page Six published photos of Vrabel and Russini holding hands at an adults-only resort in Sedona, Arizona.
Days later, the publication posted photos from 2020 of the pair appearing to kiss at a New York City bar. Then came reports of an alleged Spotify playlist Russini had made for Vrabel during the head coach’s losing streak with the Tennessee Titans, and now the latest TMZ video.

Russini has since resigned from her position at the Athletic due to the scandal, while Vrabel was not involved on the third day of the 2026 NFL Draft with the Patriots, as he attended counseling.
For now, Vrabel’s job appears secure, with several players, including quarterback Drake Maye, reportedly continuing to support him. However, as new details continue to emerge, uncertainty remains about how long the Patriots can avoid the growing scrutiny surrounding their head coach.
