Mirra Andreeva’s and Marta Kostyuk’s Prize Money at Madrid Open

The 2026 Madrid Open had a star-studded field and featured plenty of upsets and dramatic matches from the first to the last. Aryna Sabalenka was sent packing in stunning fashion by Hailey Baptiste, while Iga ÅšwiÄ…tek’s disappointing run continued with an early retirement.

Anastasia Potapova made history by becoming the first lucky loser to reach a WTA 1000 semifinal, and Jessica Pegula’s streak of making at least the quarterfinals of events finally ended.

Andreeva and Kostyuk battled it out in a thrilling Madrid final, with the Ukrainian emerging victorious. For her triumph, Kostyuk will receive a large chunk of the tournament’s €8,235,540 (US$9,684,500) prize pool.

As the winner of this WTA 1000 tournament, Kostyuk will receive €1,007,165 (US$1,184,269). Andreeva will make €535,585 (US$629,815) as the beaten finalist.

After making the semifinals, Potapova and Baptiste will both earn €297,550 (US$349,900). Quarterfinalists Linda Nosková, Leylah Fernandez, Sabalenka, and Karolína Plíšková will all receive €169,375 (US$199,149) in prize money. The players who were eliminated in the fourth round will get €92,470 (US$108,732), and those who made the third round will receive €54,110 (US$63,626).

In addition to the prize money, Kostyuk will also receive 1000 ranking points for winning the title. Meanwhile, Andreeva will get 650 ranking points when the rankings are next updated on Monday.

Kostyuk entered the tournament fresh off her title-winning run at the Open de Rouen. She started with a comfortable win over Yulia Putintseva and then pulled off a remarkable upset against Pegula in straight sets.

The Ukrainian continued her dominant run by cruising to victory against Caty McNally in the fourth round and then saw off the challenge of Nosková in the quarterfinals.
