Despite not winning the Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Rams were one of the best football teams in the NFL last season.
The team was known for its potent offense, specifically the connection between quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Puka Nacua. Regardless, the team is expected to add to its wide receiver room in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Los Angeles Rams Expected To Add Skyler Bell Amid Puka Nacua Uncertainty
During the 2025 NFL season, the Rams ranked as the best overall offense in the NFL according to PFSN’s NFL Offensive Impact Metric. In the metric, they finished the season with an impact score of 92.3 and a letter grade of A-.
The aforementioned connection between Stafford and Nacua played an integral role in the league-leading offensive production. Aside from Stafford winning the MVP award, Nacua finished ranked as the top wide receiver in PFSN’s NFL Wide Receiver Impact Metric.
He finished the season with an impact score of 98.2 and a letter grade of A+ after catching 129 receptions for 1715 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He was also named an All-Pro and voted to the NFL Pro Bowl.
However, Nacua has been under fire the past few months regarding his character and behavior. In the wake of this, PFSN’s Jacob Infante predicts that the team will add another wide receiver to their roster during the 2026 NFL Draft.
With the 93rd overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, Infante predicts that the Rams will draft wide receiver Skyler Bell from UConn. Regarding the pick, Infante said the following:
“2025 was a banner year for Skyler Bell. He had 101 catches for 1,278 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns this year, and he’s an athletic weapon with the ability to create separation at all three levels of the defensive secondary.”
In PFSN’s CFB Wide Receiver Impact Metric, Bell ranked as the sixth-best wide receiver with an impact score of 85.0 and a letter grade of B.

Between UConn and Wisconsin, Bell caught 220 receptions for 2893 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns. At 6’0″, 185 pounds, Bell is one of the most complete rookie wide receivers in this year’s draft, which can also be attributed to his vast experience in college football.
At 23 years old, Bell will be an older rookie, but he is projected to be alongside Nacua for the foreseeable future and eventually work his way up to WR2 after Davante Adams departs the team. Adams is in the final year of a two-year, $44 million contract and could either retire or depart to a new team following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL season.
