The Baltimore Ravens have to be one of the most disappointing teams in the entire league, let alone the AFC, last season. Going from a perennial title contender to outright missing the playoffs, the injury to Lamar Jackson derailed them entirely. As a result, radical changes were made to the organization, including a change in head coach.
After a Super Bowl-winning stint with the franchise, the Ravens decided to switch John Harbaugh with Jessie Minter. Now, entering a new season, they’ll be hoping to make some additional tweaks to the offense to get things back on track.
Baltimore Ravens Building the Wide Receiver Corps
One analyst believes the Ravens’ first priority needs to be adding another wide receiver for their superstar quarterback.
Last season, with Jackson limited due to his injuries, the running attack for Baltimore wasn’t up to its usual standards. That severely impacted their ability through the air as well, leading to an offense that ranked 20th on PFSN’s Offense Impact.
But there isn’t a complete drought of talent within the Ravens locker room. They have arguably one of the most underrated wide receivers in the entire league in their mix in the form of Zay Flowers.
While not getting the same attention as some of the other premium wideouts, Flowers has earned two Pro Bowl selections in his career and eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in back-to-back seasons

Despite an overall down year for the team, he was one of the highlights on the roster, tallying 1,211 yards (seventh-highest mark in the entire league) and 5 touchdowns, ranking at number seven on PFSN’s WR Impact.
However, beyond the assured production from Flowers, the rest of the receiving group for Baltimore is suspect, at best. As a result, Cameron Sheath of PFSN, in his latest mock draft for 2026, believed they could add a second wide receiver, Jordyn Tyson, to complement him.
“There is thought to be good depth at wide receiver in this year’s draft, but Jordyn Tyson is one of three receivers thought to be in a higher tier than the rest. That makes this pick easier for the Ravens, who have multiple offensive needs to address.”
Coming out of Arizona State, Tyson has been wildly productive in his two seasons with the program, finishing with a strong collegiate run that saw him put him 2,282 receiving yards and 23 total touchdowns.
That kind of production, Sheath believes, is just what the doctor ordered for the Ravens. “Tyson and Flowers would give the Ravens a frightening one-two punch on the outside, with Mark Andrews continuing to dominate over the middle of the field.”
With a new head coach coming in, Baltimore will be hoping this is the year they can break their Super Bowl drought, and Tyson could be a smart addition to that push.
