The NFL Pro Bowl has recently released its full rosters, which will represent both conferences for this season. They are always made up of some of the best players around the league, but every year also includes notable snubs. Here are some of the biggest names that didn’t cut this time.
Pro Bowl Rosters Snubbed Notable NFL Stars
The Pro Bowl rosters are determined through a voting process each year. This helps to include many of the league’s biggest stars, but also often results in certain players being snubbed. Here are some of the most notable exclusions for this season.
1) Bo Nix
Bo Nix has led the Denver Broncos to the best record in the entire NFL this season with just two weeks remaining. This apparently isn’t enough to earn him a spot on the Pro Bowl roster for this year.
2) Danielle Hunter
Danielle Hunter leads the Houston Texans’ dominant defense with 13 sacks this season. He has recorded more than teammate Will Anderson Jr., who was picked for the roster.
3) Justin Jefferson
Justin Jefferson has been voted in for four of his first five seasons, with his only absence coming in a year that was shortened by injury. The 2025 NFL season will be the first time he has played a full year, but he was not picked.
4) Jared Goff
Jared Goff has recorded the second-most touchdown passes and third-most passing yards this season with just five interceptions. He ranks better in all three categories than Sam Darnold, who was voted in.
5) Davante Adams
Davante Adams leads all players this season with 14 receiving touchdowns. He has done so despite being the Los Angeles Rams’ second wide receiver, but apparently, this wasn’t enough to get him in.
6) Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes was left off of the Pro Bowl roster this year amid the Kansas City Chiefs’ massively disappointing season. He was a part of it, ranking just 15th among all quarterbacks in PFSN’s Impact Rankings, but he was far from their biggest issue.
7) Jordyn Brooks
Jordyn Brooks leads all players with 169 total tackles through 16 weeks of the 2025 NFL season. The Miami Dolphins star also has the second-most tackles for a loss of any inside linebacker, but was still left off of the Pro Bowl roster.
8) Mike Jackson
Mike Jackson leads the NFL with 17 passes defended entering the final two weeks of the season. He has also forced four turnovers and scored a defensive touchdown for the Carolina Panthers, but didn’t receive enough votes to cut.

9) Saquon Barkley
Saquon Barkley was named the Offensive Player of the Year last season in his first campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles. His second season has included massive regression, which was apparently noticed by the voters who passed on him.
10) Bobby Wagner
Bobby Wagner turned in one of the most versatile and dynamic seasons of any inside linebacker this year, as he has often done during his legendary career. He chipped in four sacks and two interceptions for the Washington Commanders, while ranking fourth among all players in total tackles, but it wasn’t enough for a Pro Bowl spot.
