In the past two weeks, Denver Broncos skill position players Courtland Sutton and RJ Harvey, respectively, have put the offense on their backs. In Week 15, though, the competition will be much stiffer vs. the Green Bay Packers. The Green Bay Packers’ defense allows the fifth-fewest yards per game, including the seventh-fewest passing yards per game and the ninth-fewest rushing yards per game. But continue to ride the hot hands with Harvey and Sutton.
RJ Harvey
A way to combat right tackle Mike McGlinchey’s injury is by running the ball. The Denver Broncos are No. 13 in PFSN’s Offense Impact Score, while the Broncos’ offensive line is No. 3 in PFSN’s Team Offensive Line Impact Score. In 509 dropbacks, the Broncos’ offensive line has allowed just 17 sacks. And on 310 designed rushes, the Broncos’ offense is averaging 4.5 yards per rush.
Harvey, meanwhile, since Week 11, has totaled 53 touches — carries and receptions (17.6 touches per game). Week 14, however, was the first time the latter parlayed the opportunity into triple-digit yardage (100 scrimmage yards). If Broncos offensive coordinator Lombardi is right about Harvey “getting better and better” down the stretch, the latter is a league winner.
The Green Bay Packers’ defense, meanwhile, has allowed 100-plus rushing yards to opposing offenses in three of their past five games — including three touchdowns as well in that span. Harvey is an RB2 in Week 15.
Courtland Sutton
Since coming out of the bye in Week 13, Sutton has totaled 11 receptions on 16 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown — totaling at least 12.2 fantasy points in both games Weeks 13 and 14. In the same span, fellow wide receiver Troy Franklin has a lowly seven targets. The Packers’ defense, meanwhile, has allowed 94-plus receiving yards to WRs in three of their past five games, including four touchdowns as well in that span. Sutton is a flex, with WR2 upside.
Secret Sleepers: Add These Players in Week 15
Devin Neal
Neal has totaled at least 17 touches in both starts sans fellow running back Alvin Kamara. The former has recorded at least 9.9 fantasy points in both starts. The Panthers’ defense, meanwhile, has allowed 103-plus rushing yards in six straight games, including nine touchdowns as well in that span. Neal is a flex, with RB2 upside.
Adonai Mitchell
Mitchell has at least six targets in four straight games since being traded to the New York Jets. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense, meanwhile, has allowed 180-plus yards to WRs in three of their past five games. Mitchell is the ultimate all-or-nothing flex play in Week 15.
Chimere Dike
The San Francisco 49ers’ defense has allowed 100-plus yards to receivers in eight of their past nine games, including 10 touchdowns as well in that span. Dike, meanwhile, since a Week 8 bye, has totaled 22 targets in four games. He has at least 13.4 fantasy points in two of those four games. But the matchup is juicy. Dike is a matchup-based flex this week.
