Shedeur Sanders’ Parents Are Pilar and Former NFL Star Deion Sanders

Sanders is the son of NFL Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders and Pilar Sanders. Deion, also known as “Prime Time,” played across 14 NFL seasons for teams including the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington, and the Baltimore Ravens.

He won two Super Bowls — one with the 49ers and the other with the Cowboys — while finishing his career with 53 interceptions and nine defensive touchdowns in the regular season. Deion earned eight Pro Bowl selections and six First-Team All-Pro honors and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

His 1994 season in San Francisco remains one of the most dominant campaigns ever by a defensive back and was rewarded with the Defensive Player of the Year award. He later transitioned into coaching, leading Jackson State and then Colorado, where he coached Shedeur, helping him develop into one of the best quarterbacks in college.

Pilar is a former model and actress who played a pivotal role in Shedeur’s upbringing and continues to be a major influence in his personal life.

Who Are Sanders’ Siblings?

Shedeur has four siblings: Deiondra, Deion Jr., Shilo, and Shelomi, who have built careers across sports, media, and entertainment.

Deiondra Sanders

Deiondra is the eldest of the Sanders siblings and first entered the public eye through television appearances. She works in sports management and communications and is engaged to R&B singer Jacquees; the two share a son named Snow.

Deion Sanders Jr.

Deion Jr. initially pursued a career in football before transitioning to media and fashion. He founded the streetwear brand Well Off Forever in 2016 and also helped build Well Off Media, documenting the family’s journey at Jackson State and Colorado.

Shilo Sanders

Shilo, Shedeur’s older brother, played defensive back at Colorado with his father and brother. He was not selected in the 2025 NFL Draft but signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buccaneers before being cut in the preseason.

Shelomi Sanders

Shelomi is the youngest sibling and continued the family’s athletic legacy in basketball. She began her college career at Jackson State before transferring to the University of Colorado and later to Alabama A&M.

Shedeur Relationship Status

Shedeur’s only publicly confirmed relationship to date was with actress Storm Reid, whom he began dating during college. The pair attended events together in 2023, including the premiere of Reid’s film “Missing,” and she was often seen supporting him at games before the two ultimately split later that year.

Sanders has not publicly confirmed a relationship, but the two appear to have split up. Since then, he has been linked to model and social media personality Jasmine Rae recently, though neither has addressed the speculation, and Sanders has largely kept his personal life private.

When asked directly whether he had a “special woman” in his life ahead of his NFL debut, Sanders said: “Yes, I have my mom [Pilar Sanders].”

What to Expect in Browns vs Raiders Week 12 Matchup

Sanders will make his first start in a matchup between two 2–8 teams looking to reset their seasons. The Browns will continue to rely on their defense, which ranks in an impressive third place in PFSN’s Defense Impact (DEFi) rating with a score of 86.2, just behind the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans.

Offensively, the Browns are still searching for stability as they turn to their third starting quarterback of the season, hoping the fifth-round pick can offer some consistency. Both teams are considered long shots for the postseason, with nearly a 0% playoff probability, according to PFSN’s NFL Football Playoff Meter (FPM).
