Emma Navarro is currently enjoying her time away from the tennis court during her off-season. Recently, she was spotted trying a different sport, golf, at the 2025 RSM Classic.
Navarro concluded her 2025 tennis season by competing at the Wuhan Open. She was seeded 14th at the tournament and lost in the first round to wild card Zhang Shuai.
Emma Navarro Attends Golf Event During Off-Season
The RSM Classic, an official PGA TOUR event, began on November 17, 2025, and will run until November 23, 2025, at the Sea Island Golf Club. The pro-am event took place on Wednesday, November 19, where Navarro participated.
The former World No. 8 took to social media to share a picture of herself posing with her golf club and caddie. She also expressed her gratitude to the tournament for having her.
“Thanks for having me out @thersmclassic @rsmusllp,” Navarro captioned her Instagram story.

In 2025, Navarro claimed only one title: the Mérida Open. She defeated Emiliana Arango in the final, securing her second WTA Tour title and her first WTA 500 title.
At the Grand Slam tournaments, the former World No. 8 had a quarterfinal run at the 2025 Australian Open before losing to Iga ÅšwiÄ…tek. She reached the fourth round at Wimbledon before being eliminated by Mirra Andreeva, and faced early exits at the French Open and the US Open.
She also made it to the quarterfinals at the 2025 Adelaide International, Charleston Open, Internationaux de Strasbourg, Queen’s Club Championships, Bad Homburg Open, and China Open.
Emma Navarro To Begin Her 2026 Season at ASB Classic
Navarro is set to begin her 2026 season by competing at the ASB Classic, which is scheduled to take place from January 5 to January 11, 2026. The matches of the WTA 250 tournament will be held on the outdoor hard courts at the Manuka Doctor Arena in Auckland.
In addition to the former World No. 8, players like Venus Williams, Elina Svitolina, Iva Jović, and Lulu Sun will also be competing at the ASB Classic. Naomi Osaka was also scheduled to participate in the tournament, but she has withdrawn to represent Japan at the 2026 United Cup.
Navarro’s best result at the ASB Classic came in 2024. She was seeded fourth and started her campaign by defeating Linda Fruhvirtová in the first round with a scoreline of 2-6, 6-4, 6-2. She then overcame Elina Avanesyan with a 6-1, 6-2 score in the second round.
In the quarterfinals, the former World No. 8 eliminated the seventh seed, Petra Martić, with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-3. Her run at the WTA 250 tournament came to an end in the semifinals when she lost to the eventual champion, top seed Coco Gauff, with a scoreline of 3-6, 1-6.
