Week 10 Fantasy Football Injury Recap: Players Include J.K. Dobbins, Garrett Wilson, and Davante Adams

Week 10 brought key NFL injuries as stars like Jaxson Dart, J.K. Dobbins, and Garrett Wilson face setbacks. Here’s the fantasy impact heading into Week 11.

We seemingly avoided major injuries for fantasy football in Week 10, but several players could miss a week or two while recovering from injuries. Below is the injury recap for fantasy football managers in Week 10.

Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants

Jaxson Dart was on his way to another big fantasy performance against the Chicago Bears in Week 10, but suffered a concussion in the second half and missed most of the fourth quarter.

Dart will need to clear the concussion protocol to play in Week 11. Russell Wilson was the starter for the New York Giants to start the season, but it is unclear if he or Jameis Winston would be the starting quarterback for interim head coach Mike Kafka.

J.K. Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos

J.K. Dobbins had his foot rolled up on during an awkward tackle attempt in the fourth quarter of the Denver Broncos’ win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night. On Friday, it was reported that Dobbins was seeking a second opinion on the injury.

We still don’t know the exact nature of the injury, but seeking a second opinion usually means the player didn’t like the initial assessment.

RJ Harvey would be the clear winner with expanded playing time. Still, realistically, this backfield could turn into a three-man committee with Harvey, Tyler Badie, and Jaleel McLaughlin all having roles.

Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets

Garrett Wilson returned to the field in Week 10 after missing two games with a knee injury suffered in Week 6’s loss to the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, Wilson seemingly aggravated the injury against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. He is expected to miss an additional three to four weeks.

The Jets recently traded for second-year wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, but he was inactive in Week 10. He is poised to see a significant role in the passing attack with Wilson sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Davante Adams exited the Los Angeles Rams’ win against the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth quarter due to an oblique injury. After the game, head coach Sean McVay stated that Adams could have returned to action if the game had been closer.

Time will tell how severe the injury is and if it will cost Adams a week. Xavier Smith was third on the Rams in routes run in Week 10 (20), but Konata Mumpfield (13 routes run) wasn’t far behind. Jordan Whittington could also see a bigger role, but he’s working through his own injury.

D.J. Moore, WR, Chicago Bears

D.J. Moore suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter of the Chicago Bears’ win over the New York Giants. He was able to return to the field in the second half but earned only one target.

Moore has missed Wednesday’s practice for most of the season due to other injuries, so we won’t know his status honestly until Thursday. If Moore is injured, 2025 second-round pick Luther Burden III would see an expanded role at wide receiver.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers

Romeo Doubs has been the most consistent part of the Green Bay Packers’ passing attack outside of Tucker Kraft this season, leading the team in targets (56) and receptions (35). He’s also second (behind only Kraft) in yards (446) and touchdowns (4).

Unfortunately, Doubs suffered a chest injury in the second half of the Packers’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. There haven’t been any updates about his long-term outlook. Still, his loss is another significant blow to a passing attack that has numerous pieces (Kraft, Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed) navigating through injuries.

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills

Dalton Kincaid was having the best season of his career for the Buffalo Bills, but suffered a hamstring injury during the third quarter of Week 10’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. Reports indicate that the tight end is considered “week-to-week” with the injury.

Buffalo’s passing attack has struggled this season. Dawson Knox will have more fantasy relevance going forward, but Kincaid’s passing volume will likely be funneled to Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir in the passing attack.

Fantasy managers who have enjoyed getting TE8 production from Kincaid (12.2 PPR points per game) will likely need to look elsewhere for the foreseeable future.

Oronde Gadsden II, TE, Los Angeles Chargers

Oronde Gadsden II emerged as an explosive rookie tight end in recent weeks for fantasy managers. Unfortunately, Gadsden was kneed in the lower body during the second half and didn’t return to the game.

There was initial concern on Twitter that Gadsden had suffered a knee injury, but on Monday, it was reported that the rookie tight end sustained a quad bruise and was considered “day-to-day”. Gadsden has a chance to play in Week 11, but if he doesn’t, his targets will likely be repurposed to Keenan Allen or Ladd McConkey over any of the team’s other tight end options.
