Is Bijan Robinson Injured? A Look at Whether the Falcons Star Is Hurt After Slow Start vs. Colts in Week 10

Trying to get back in the winning column, the Atlanta Falcons got a very quiet first half from Bijan Robinson against the Indianapolis Colts.

Coming off a three-game losing streak, time was running out quickly for the Atlanta Falcons as they tried to remain competitive in the NFC. A game against the Indianapolis Colts in Berlin to kick off Sunday’s slate in Week 10 was going to be a tough battle to get back in the win column.

However, through the first half, Raheem Morris and his men had persevered and walked into the break with a 14-13 lead. Even with the team’s overall success, though, it was hard not to notice another quiet night for star running back Bijan Robinson.

What Happened to Bijan Robinson?

Starting the year in incredible fashion, Robinson seemed to have taken that next step into becoming a uniquely devastating dual-threat from the backfield. However, in recent weeks, his production has taken a hit, despite his overall numbers for the year remaining solid.

Against Indianapolis, though, it was another quiet day for the superstar running back, as he tallied 47 rushing yards on nine carries in the period. His involvement in the passing game was minimal, as he caught just one pass, but gave up four yards rather than adding to the total.

A solid rookie season paved the way for the youngster to break out in his sophomore campaign, with 1,456 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, alongside 431 yards and a touchdown through the air.

This year, it seemed like he would cross those numbers thanks to an electric start to the season. Through five weeks, he was already up to 484 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground, along with 338 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown.

However, over the last three games, his production has been incredibly stunted, with just less than 40 rushing yards and 50 receiving yards per game in that stretch. As a result, he’s fallen on PFSN’s RB Impact rankings as well.

Ranked near the top of the league for most of the season, his dip in production has caused him to fall to ninth on the scale. Unfortunately, the first half hasn’t given much indication that Week 10 will be the game when he finally turns things back around.
