Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is in the books. It saw plenty of movement at the quarterback position take place, between the “Unc Bowl” featuring Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers turning back the clock, Drake Maye’s historic performance, and Justin Herbert reaching 420 passing yards.
PFSN has you covered with your QB rankings for the 2025 season, as our QBi metric puts a numerical value on how each one performs every week. Note that these rankings only include the seven games played this year, not any previous games from other seasons, or factoring into each player’s reputation. With Week 7 in the rearview mirror, let’s rank the top 37 quarterbacks in the NFL after another week of play.
37) Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 49.6 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 37
With the Cincinnati Bengals’ acquisition of Joe Flacco heading into Week 6, Jake Browning has since transitioned back into a backup role. Judging by how poorly he performed in relief of Joe Burrow, that’s probably for the best.
36) Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 51.9 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 36
Any hopes that the Tennessee Titans’ decision to fire Brian Callahan would light a spark under the team were dashed in Week 7. They lost decisively to the Patriots on Sunday, and Cam Ward ended the game sacked five times.
Ward has the lowest third-down conversion rate of the 37 QBs eligible for this list, and with Jake Browning back on the bench, his -0.23 EPA per dropback is the lowest of any current starter. It’s been a brutal rookie season for this year’s No. 1 overall pick.
35) Tyrod Taylor, New York Jets
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 56.0 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 33
With Justin Fields having been shaken up, returning to the game, and then proceeded to get benched, Tyrod Taylor made his return to the New York Jets’ lineup on Sunday. It wasn’t a return to remember for the veteran, as he threw two interceptions, no passing touchdowns and completed just 45.4% of his attempts. It remains to be seen if he will remain the starter going forward.
34) Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 57.2 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 34
The Cleveland Browns throughly dominated the Dolphins on Sunday, though that was much more a testament to their strong run game and their talented defense than it was to the play of Dillon Gabriel. His play was inoffensive, but at 116 passing yards with no touchdowns, he didn’t exactly elevate his team, either.
Albeit off a smaller sample size, Gabriel has the 34th-best EPA per dropback among the 37 qualified quarterbacks on this list. His 4.5 net yards per attempt ranks dead last among those players, as well.
33) Russell Wilson, New York Giants
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 62.8 (D-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 32
Russell Wilson sat behind rookie Jaxson Dart for the New York Giants’ Week 7 matchup, and head coach Brian Daboll says that will remain the case for the rest of the season.
32) Justin Fields, New York Jets
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 63.3 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 30
Just one week after putting together an outing with negative net passing yards, Justin Fields found himself benched. He ended the Jets’ loss with 46 passing yards, having been sacked three times for a loss of 21 yards. He hasn’t scored a touchdown in either of his last two games, and he’s combined for fewer than 100 passing yards in those performances. Time will tell if his benching is a long-term decision.
31) Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 63.3 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 35
Joe Flacco turned back the clock on Thursday night, leading the Cincinnati Bengals to a 33-31 shootout win over the Steelers to improve their record to 3-4 on the 2025 NFL season. Flacco completed 31 of his 47 attempts, passing for 342 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.
It’s been a brutal year so far for Flacco, but his trade from the Browns to the Bengals seems to have improved his play a bit. If he can continue to keep Cincinnati afloat while Joe Burrow recovers from injury, it could be a huge testament to his resiliency.
30) Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 64.3 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 31
The Carolina Panthers improved their record to 4-3 on Sunday with their win over the Jets. While that winning record is a major step in the right direction for their franchise, Bryce Young hasn’t particularly lit it up as their starting QB this season. He threw for just 138 yards and a touchdown against New York, though it was enough to pick up the win.
Young is tied for 31st with a -0.09 EPA per dropback, and his 5.3 net yards per attempt are tied for 32nd in the NFL. He hasn’t been all that good in Year 3, so while the wins are stacking up for Carolina, the hope is their quarterback play will pick up to make this success more sustainable.
29) Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 64.8 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 28
A brutal loss to the Rams in London on Sunday didn’t help Trevor Lawrence improve his disappointing QBi grading. Though he didn’t throw any interceptions, he completed only 47.9% of his passing attempts, making it extremely difficult for the Jacksonville Jaguars to piece consistent drives together on offense.
The Jaguars’ 4-3 record is still favorable, but Lawrence’s 58.7% completion percentage is the second-lowest among qualified QBs in the NFL right now. His inconsistent connection with Brian Thomas Jr., after the latter made it to the Pro Bowl as a rookie, is among the biggest storylines in Jacksonville right now.
28) Spencer Rattler, New Orleans Saints
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 68.5 (D+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 29
It was an inconsistent outing from Spencer Rattler in the New Orleans Saints’ loss to the Bears on Sunday. He threw for two touchdowns, marking just the second time he’s thrown multiple touchdowns in the same game this season. But he also threw three interceptions, playing a key role in his team’s loss in Chicago.
Rattler’s turnover-heavy outing was uncharacteristic of his season, as he had thrown just one interception all year going into Week 7. His EPA per dropback fell into the negatives after Sunday, and he’s in the bottom ten in third-down conversion percentage.
27) Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 69.5 (D+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 24
It’s been a season to forget for Geno Smith in 2025, and that misfortune continued on Sunday. The Las Vegas Raiders got shut out 31-0 by the Chiefs in Week 7, and Smith finished the game with just 67 passing yards all afternoon.
2025 NFL MVP Race: Baker Mayfield, Dak Prescott Make Their Cases for Most Prestigious Award
Smith’s -0.1 EPA per dropback is tied for 33rd among the 37 qualified QBs this year, and it indicates he’s costing his team points on a typical dropback. It doesn’t help that he’s struggled under pressure, as his EPA per dropback under pressure is the second-lowest of any quarterback in the NFL.
26) Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 70.2 (C-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 22
Coming out of their bye week, the Atlanta Falcons didn’t necessarily look as prepared as they should’ve been with the extra time off. The result was a 20-10 loss to the 49ers and a middling passing performance from Michael Penix Jr.
Of the 13 starting quarterbacks with negative EPA per dropback averages, only Tua Tagovailoa ranks higher than Penix on these rankings. It’s a testament to some of the highs Penix has shown, like his 313-yard outing in the Falcons’ win over the Commanders in Week 4. However, he remains too inconsistent to rank all that high on this list.
25) C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 72.7 (C-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 25
Stay tuned for updates to C.J. Stroud’s grading after Monday Night Football.
24) Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 73.8 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 13
Tua Tagovailoa got completely outplayed by Dillon Gabriel in the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the Browns on Sunday, which says even more when you consider Gabriel himself wasn’t all that great. Tagovailoa threw for just 100 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions, completing just 52.2% of his passes.
As the Dolphins fall to their third loss in a row, things seem to be collapsing in Miami. Tagovailoa has generally been pretty inconsistent, with the highs being high and the lows being disastrously low. Unfortunately for him, we saw more of the latter in their Week 7 loss to Cleveland.
23) Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 74.3 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 26
It’s hard as a quarterback to lead your team to victory when your defense allows 37 points and your backup throws a pick-six. That’s the dilemma Jayden Daniels faced on Sunday, and while he wasn’t bad in the Washington Commanders’ loss to the Cowboys, it clearly wasn’t enough to secure the win.
On a smaller sample size due to injury, Daniels is still top ten in the NFL in EPA per dropback under pressure. But generally speaking, that’s the only analytical category in which he’s ahead of the curve. He ranks from average to below-average just about everywhere else.
22) Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 74.8 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 23
Kyler Murray missed Week 7 due to a foot injury, so his QBi ranking doesn’t change. Jacoby Brissett started in his place.
21) Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 75.1 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 27
The New York Giants blew a lead in comical proportions on Sunday, but that wasn’t entirely Jaxson Dart’s fault. If anything, he deserves credit for getting them in position to hold that lead in the first place. His 45.4% completion percentage was poor, but he also threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.

— Talkin’ Giants (@TalkinGiants) October 20, 2025
The consistency isn’t quite there with Dart, which is to be expected for a rookie quarterback. But the flashes certainly are, as he’s thrown for seven passing touchdowns in four starts and has led the Giants to consecutive games in which they’ve scored more than 30 points.
20) Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 75.8 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 19
A slow start hurts Bo Nix’s QBi grade a bit, but he played a significant role in the Denver Broncos scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter alone to come from behind and steal the victory from the Giants on Sunday at the last second. He threw for 279 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Nix generally grades out as an average quarterback in practically every analytical category PFSN has, backing up the narrative that he’s an effective game manager if things are going well around him. However, his play on Sunday indicated he has the potential to be more than that.
19) Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 76.1 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 15
The Chicago Bears picked up a decisive 26-14 win over the Saints on Sunday, improving their record to 4-2. Though Caleb Williams clearly didn’t play poorly enough to cost his team a 12-point victory, it’s clear the second-year quarterback still has a lot of room left to grow.
Williams finished Sunday’s game with 172 passing yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. Five of his passes were deflected, including two at the line of scrimmage by Chase Young. Williams remains generally middle of the pack in a majority of the analytics categories that PFSN uses for the QB position.
18) Carson Wentz, Minnesota Vikings
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 77.8 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 16
The Minnesota Vikings kept things competitive with the Eagles on Sunday, but they ultimately didn’t do enough to pick up the victory. Part of that came down to the play of Carson Wentz, who threw for 313 yards but also threw two interceptions with no touchdowns in the loss that dropped his team to 3-3.
Minnesota’s loss in Week 7 exemplified what Wentz has displayed in relief of J.J. McCarthy this season: he’s a capable backup who can keep your team competitive in games, but he isn’t quite good enough to elevate the team. He requires a strong defense to make up for his occasional mishaps, and the Vikings weren’t able to fully complement the mistakes he made against the Eagles this week.
17) Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 78.3 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 17
Mac Jones took the reins for another start in Week 7, and he kept the San Francisco 49ers afloat with a 20-10 victory over the Falcons on Sunday. He didn’t light it up with only 152 passing yards, no touchdowns, and an interception, but the 49ers still picked up the win, regardless.
2025 NFL Playoff Picture and Bracket: Patriots Remain Red Hot, While Ravens Lose Again
Going into Week 7, Jones averaged more than 300 passing yards per start, which is an average that clearly took a hit when he finished with barely half of that on Sunday. He ranks in the middle of the pack in most analytical categories, but improved play under pressure would play a big part in getting him back into the top ten in QBi grading.
16) Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 79.0 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 18
Some second-half scoring kept the final score a little more respectable, but make no mistake about it: the Los Angeles Chargers were outclassed in their 38-24 loss to the Colts on Sunday. They relied heavily on the passing game, and while Justin Herbert threw two interceptions, he also had three touchdowns with a whopping 420 passing yards.
The Chargers have lost three of their last four games, and Herbert throwing five interceptions in that span hasn’t helped their case any. He remains a highly talented quarterback who has been prone to a couple questionable decisions a game, and Los Angeles’ defense isn’t playing well enough right now to overcome said bad decisions.
15) Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 79.0 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 21
Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers’ loss to the Bengals on Thursday night, Aaron Rodgers finds himself jumping up a few spots after a strong individual performance. Though he threw two interceptions, he also threw for four touchdowns and 249 yards, putting his team in a position to remain competitive with Cincinnati’s offensive output all evening.
Even in the late stages of his career, Rodgers has remained consistent in the clutch. His 0.89 clutch sum ranks sixth in the NFL, surpassing current notable stars like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson. His 14 passing touchdowns tie him for the third-most in the league, too.
14) Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 81.3 (B-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 20
Jalen Hurts has been through some ups and downs in the 2025 NFL season, but his performance in the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Vikings certainly falls in the former category. He threw for 326 passing yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, completing a stellar 82.6% of his attempts in the process.
This was Jalen Hurts’ best game since the Super Bowl! Eagles fixed it themselves and cooked the Vikings. MVP form returning? 🦅👀 pic.twitter.com/vfIjCuobq3
— Speakeasy (@speakeasytlkshw) October 20, 2025
As one could expect given the success of the Tush Push, Hurts is one of the most efficient quarterbacks at running the football in the NFL. He generally ranks pretty average in most analytical categories, though his 16 total touchdowns to just one interception help him out. More consistency in the passing game like what he had against the Vikings would surely be enough to give him a top-ten QBi grade.
13) Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 82.1 (B-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 12
Though Matthew Stafford falls down a spot after Week 7, it’s hardly his fault. He was highly efficient in the lighter workload he was asked to carry, throwing for only 182 passing yards but also adding five passing touchdowns and no interceptions in the Los Angeles Rams’ win over the Jaguars.
As of this writing, Stafford ranks third in the NFL in passing yards and leads the league with 17 passing touchdowns. His 109.3 passer rating is also the fifth-highest in the league, indicating it’s generally been a very good season for the veteran quarterback.
12) Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 82.3 (B-)
Last Week’s Ranking: N/R
With Kyler Murray’s absence due to injury, Jacoby Brissett has now put up a large enough sample size to earn eligibility for our QBi grading. The Arizona Cardinals have lost both of the games he’s started thus far, but it’s hardly been Brissett’s fault. If anything, he’s been the one keeping them in games; they’ve lost both matchups by one score and have scored a combined 50 points in those two starts.
Brissett doesn’t have a large enough sample size to nitpick about his performance to this point, but he’s keeping the Cardinals competitive in Murray’s absence. He’s thrown for 599 passing yards in his two games, scoring four touchdowns with one interception with a 97.7 passer rating so far this season.
11) Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 84.2 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 14
Patrick Mahomes has done a great job of stacking up strong performances in recent weeks, and Week 7 was no exception. In the Kansas City Chiefs’ shutout win over the Raiders on Sunday, he threw for 286 yards, three passing touchdowns, and no interceptions with a 126.6 passer rating.
After a middling start to the season, Mahomes is working his way into above-average territory in a majority of PFSN’s analytical categories. Most notably, he’s the fifth-most efficient quarterback under pressure in the NFL, and his combined third- and fourth-down conversion rate ranks sixth in the league.
10) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 84.4 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 2
The combination of Josh Allen’s poor performance in Week 6 against the Falcons and the Buffalo Bills having their bye week in Week 7 sees him drop a few spots down PFSN’s QBi rankings. He’s been great more often than not this season, so the hope is he’ll return to MVP form coming out of the bye.
9) Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 85.2 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 10

7) Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

6) Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 87.2 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 7
Lamar Jackson missed Week 6 due to a hamstring injury, and Week 7 was the Baltimore Ravens’ bye week. His return will be a massive boost to a struggling Ravens team, whenever that may end up coming.
5) Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 88.8 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 6
The Dallas Cowboys have been incredibly unstable due to their lackluster defense, but one thing has remained a constant: Dak Prescott playing fantastic football. That continued on Sunday, as he threw for three touchdowns and 264 yards in their blowout win over the Commanders.
With a clutch sum of 1.34, Prescott grades as the most reliable quarterback in crunch time in the NFL this season. He’s second in both passing yards and passing touchdowns, and he’s the third-most efficient QB in the league in terms of EPA per dropback under pressure.
4) Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 89.0 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 5
Jordan Love has been an effective starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers all season, and his solid play continued with his performance in their win over the Cardinals on Sunday. His 179 passing yards and one touchdown may not jump off the page initially, but he helped the Packers march down the field on five separate scoring drives.
Through Week 7, Love ranks seventh in EPA per dropback and has the highest EPA per dropback average in a clean pocket in the entire NFL. He’s also tied for sixth in net yards per attempt and ranks fourth in EPA per rush. If he can become slightly more efficient under pressure, a top-two finish isn’t at all out of the question for him in 2025.
3) Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 89.4 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 4
Due to his turf toe injury that’s been affecting him throughout the season, Brock Purdy missed the 49ers’ Week 7 matchup.
2) Drake Maye, New England Patriots
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 91.1 (A-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 3
Drake Maye continued his stellar Year 2 with a strong performance against the Titans, completing 21 of his 23 passing attempts for 222 yards and two touchdowns. His 91% completion percentage surpassed Tom Brady’s record for the highest completion rate in a New England Patriots game with 20+ passes thrown.

Among other categories, Maye ranks second in completion percentage, sixth in passing yards, second in net yards per attempt, tied for third in EPA per dropback, third in clutch sum, and tied for seventh in passing touchdowns.
1) Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 96.8 (A)
Last Week’s Ranking: 1
For the fifth week in a row, Daniel Jones remains at the top of PFSN’s QBi grading scale. He had another strong outing against the Chargers, scoring two touchdowns with 288 passing yards and no interceptions in the Indianapolis Colts’ 38-24 victory in Week 7.
As one could expect given his extremely high QBi grade, Jones ranks in the top five in practically every major passing category that PFSN has in their analytics database. Most notably, he’s the second-most efficient QB under pressure and ranks second in EPA per dropback. His all-around success has made him a stellar performer for the Colts this season, and it’s made him far and away the top quarterback on our list.
