Heartwarming Halloween Moments from the Anna Kournikova-Enrique Iglesias Family

In a recent festive Halloween-themed Instagram post, Kournikova shared a heartwarming photo of herself and their three children, dressed in coordinated costumes. Kournikova wore a bright yellow chick costume, her daughters dressed as festive pumpkins, and her son wore a soccer player outfit.

Born in Moscow in 1981, she turned professional at 14 years old. While she never captured a WTA singles title, her prowess in doubles, particularly alongside Swiss legend Martina Hingis, earned her international recognition. The pair won two Australian Open doubles titles in 1999 and 2002 and reached several Grand Slam finals, cementing Kournikova’s reputation as a doubles specialist.

At the peak of her career, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 8 in 2000 and became World No. 1 in doubles in 1999. Chronic back injuries gradually limited her singles career, leading to her eventual retirement from professional tennis in 2003, though she occasionally participated in exhibition matches and charity events.

Kournikova’s Life in the Spotlight Beyond the Court

Beyond the court, Kournikova evolved into a mainstream celebrity. Her athletic achievements, combined with her striking looks, made her one of the most marketable female athletes of her time. She appeared on magazine covers worldwide, endorsed high-profile brands, and made television appearances.

Despite this, she has maintained a careful balance between public life and personal privacy, especially when it comes to her relationship with Iglesias. The couple met around 2001 after Kournikova appeared in Iglesias’ music video for “Escape.” Their relationship has endured more than two decades.

Kournikova and Iglesias have built a close-knit family in Miami, Florida, raising three children while largely keeping them away from the public eye. Twins Nicholas and Lucy were born in December 2017, followed by their daughter Mary in January 2020. In August 2025, the news of Kournikova’s fourth pregnancy delighted fans, adding to the couple’s growing family narrative.

Despite the pressures of fame, Kournikova occasionally shares small, intimate moments of family life, whether celebrating birthdays, holidays, or special milestones, giving her followers rare glimpses into her life as a mother and partner.
