How Did NFL Fans React to Jaxson Dart’s Viral Pre-Game Look?

One can say what they want about Dart as a quarterback, but there’s no denying the Giants’ rookie’s swagger.

Selected 25th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, fans are excited to see him make his NFL starting debut today, and based on their reaction to his pre-game look, it’s safe to say the hype is through the roof.

A video of Dart entering MetLife Stadium has caught the attention of many, and fans were quick to react, praising the rookie quarterback’s swagger.

Dart arrived at the stadium wearing wired headphones, and many fans liked the look. One wrote, “Wired earphones…he might just be HIM.”

Another fan echoed that sentiment, noting Dart’s wired headphones and the chains on his jeans, saying he looked like he stepped straight out of the 90s.

One fan even said that if Dart plays well on Sunday, his wired headphones could become a trend again, writing, “If he does what I’m hoping he does…Apple wired headphone stock is going to go crazy.”

Other fans pointed to the rookie quarterback’s aura, with one writing, “Nah, this MF’s aura is outta this world.”

While one Giants fan seemed just happy to have Dart as his team’s starting quarterback now.

There’s no denying that Dart’s pre-game fit is making headlines, and while it’s always good for a team’s quarterback to have swagger, the young signal-caller will have to carry it onto the field.

Dart is taking over a struggling Giants offense that has earned a PFSN OFFi (offensive impact) grade of 62.9, the second-worst in the NFL. New York benched Russell Wilson in favor of Dart earlier this week, and if he can help the Giants’ offense be more productive, he’ll quickly become a fan favorite.

The Giants take on the 3-0 Chargers on Sunday, and Dart will face a strong defense with a PFSN DEFi grade of 84.6, the fourth-best in the league.

Dart makes his debut against the Chargers today, Sunday, September 28, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. ET. Fans will watch to see if he brings the same swagger from pre-game onto the field.
