‘She Means Business’ – Aliyah Boston Becomes Ultimate Hype Woman for Caitlin Clark in Viral Video

Aliyah Boston’s pregame moment with Caitlin Clark stole the spotlight as the Indiana Fever secured a big playoff win. Find out what the moment was.

Sept. 16 turned out to be more than just another game day for the Indiana Fever, as it was a night that carried luck and plenty of viral moments. In Game 2 of the first-round playoff series, the Fever not only defeated the Atlanta Dream with a (77-60) win but also broke a years-long curse as they secured their first playoff victory since 2015.

While Kelsey Mitchell’s 19 points and Aliyah Boston’s stellar 15-point performance dominated the stat sheet, Boston’s pregame antics truly stole the spotlight and sent social media into overdrive.

Aliyah Boston’s Pregame Moment With Caitlin Clark that Went Viral

In a video shared by Indiana Fever insider Scott Agnes on X, Boston could be seen bringing her infectious energy to Caitlin Clark, who rocked a pair of black Air Force 1s before tipoff.

“Oh, you mean business, h**l yeah, somebody say something,” said Boston while looking at Clark. But she didn’t stop there as she also added, “Those black Air Forces! I am scared of her. She’s a threat… them refs should watch out!”

The moment captured the tight bond the two players have built over the season. Moreover, Boston stepping into the role of Clark’s ultimate hype woman wasn’t surprising at all.

Their camaraderie has been one of the most visible storylines of the Fever’s season. Even when Clark was sidelined for much of the year, Boston kept their pregame ritual alive, as she often embraced Clark before warm-ups or tip-off to keep the energy high.

Clark’s sophomore campaign hasn’t gone as planned due to a slew of injuries. The guard missed 31 games in the 2025 regular season (including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup) because of a leg issue, a left quad strain, and a nagging groin problem.

Despite the setbacks, her production before injuries spoke volumes as she averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and five rebounds per game.

However, as head coach Stephanie White previously noted, Clark’s presence on the sidelines provides an “emotional” boost that helps her teammates perform at their highest level. This intangible impact was evident throughout the playoff victory.

Even from her courtside seat, Clark remained deeply engaged with the game’s flow. After the victory, she took to X to praise a beautiful sequence where Mitchell intercepted an Atlanta pass and quickly found Boston, who then dished it to Lexie Hull for a three-pointer.

“Can’t explain what I felt in this moment,” wrote Clark regarding the sequence.

The Fever dominated the game from the opening tip. They formed a commanding six-point lead at the end of the first quarter and maintained that same advantage at halftime. Moreover, they carried this momentum into the second half. Eventually, they built their largest lead of the game, a crushing 24-point margin in the fourth quarter that Atlanta simply couldn’t overcome.

Now, the Fever turn their attention to a decisive Game 3 against the Dream on Sept. 18 at Gateway Center.
