Iga Świątek Attends Men’s Wimbledon Final

After her dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory over Amanda Anisimova in the Wimbledon final, Iga Świątek was presented with the Ladies’ Singles Challenge Plate, the prestigious Venus Rosewater Dish, by Her Royal Highness, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, during the post-match prize ceremony.

The next day, she was glammed up from head to toe for the traditional Champion’s photo shoot at the Royal Box, celebrating her maiden Wimbledon win with a stunning shoot in a Victoria Beckham dress worth 990 euros.

Świątek, all smiles throughout, lit up the Royal Box as she posed with the trophy in a Delphinium blue midi dress, featuring elegant slit cape sleeves.

This win finally earned Świątek her maiden Grand Slam title of the year, after falling short in the semifinals at both the Australian Open, where she lost to Madison Keys, and the French Open, where Aryna Sabalenka ended her run. It was also her first title since winning the French Open in 2024.

Iga Świątek Thanks Her Team After Unexpected Win at SW19

In her post-match, on-court interview, the former world No. 1 opened up about how unexpected her Wimbledon victory was.

“Honestly, I didn’t even dream (of winning Wimbledon) because for me it was just way too far. I feel I’m already an experienced player after winning the Slams before, but I never really expected this one,” Iga Świątek said.

The Pole also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her coach, Wim Fissette, for his incredible support, even though he only joined her team last year.

“I’m going to thank my team because I feel like they believed in me more than I did. I want to thank my coach, who joined this year. Obviously, with ups and downs, we showed right now that it’s working,” she added.

The WTA World No. 4 also took a moment to thank the rest of her team for always having her back.

“Also, to the team that has been with me for many years, I would be nowhere without you, and having your trust and constant support and knowing each other so well. This is like the best thing a player can have, so thank you guys!”

Świątek is now just one Australian Open title away from completing a career Grand Slam, having won each of the other three majors at least once.
