The New York Jets are entering a new era with head coach Aaron Glenn at the helm. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is already out, and Justin Fields is expected to be the starting quarterback in the 2025 NFL season unless something unexpected happens. But when it comes to the running back position, there is likely a change coming in New York.
The former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator has made it clear that he wants a three-player system in his backfield. That could lead Breece Hall to find a new home, with trade rumors heating up as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. Here are three teams that could potentially add the 23-year-old RB.

3 Potential Landing Spots for Jets RB Breece Hall
Denver Broncos
Last year, the Denver Broncos were one of the NFL’s biggest surprises. Behind a rookie quarterback and one of the league’s best defenses, Denver made the playoffs. Despite the success, though, the Broncos’ offense struggled most of the season.
Quarterback Bo Nix had some rookie growing pains, and the ground game wasn’t much better. Javonte Williams led all running backs with just 513 yards and is now with the Dallas Cowboys.
Denver could find a long-term option in the 2025 NFL Draft, but Hall would be a smart addition to boost the depth chart.
Cleveland Browns
Like the Broncos, the Cleveland Browns had one of the league’s worst ground games last season. The offense struggled all year, and the running back group didn’t help. Jerome Ford, still on the roster, led the team with 565 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Nick Chubb played only eight games and wasn’t at full strength, finishing with 332 yards.
Cleveland needs more depth at the position, and with so much focus on quarterbacks and wide receivers in the draft, Hall could quietly upgrade the room.
Las Vegas Raiders
This could change if the Las Vegas Raiders draft Ashton Jeanty in the first round. But like Denver and Cleveland, the Raiders felt the loss of Josh Jacobs. The run game fell apart, and Las Vegas’ offense struggled across the board.
Far from ideal, Alexander Mattison led the team with just 420 rushing yards. Hall, however, has cleared at least 800 rushing yards in each of the past two seasons and was just six yards shy of the 1,000-yard mark in 2023.
Hall’s talent, combined with a retooled offense featuring tight end Brock Bowers and quarterback Geno Smith, could help the Raiders become a real AFC threat.
