Appearing on “Good Morning Football,” WWE superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin set the bar for his hometown Cleveland Browns extremely high for the upcoming NFL season.
He predicts they’ll win the Super Bowl.
Depending on your feelings about the team, his rationale for how it’ll be accomplished will either make you laugh or fill you with hope.

The Miz Cites Shedeur Sanders as Catalyst for Super Bowl Win
The clip starts with The Miz being asked, “You said that the Browns are gonna win the Super Bowl. Are you gonna stand on that today?”
Then, The Miz hit the screen, ready to answer as if he were delivering a promo in the middle of the ring.
“100%!” The Miz said exuberantly.
"What else could you possibly want in a Super Bowl-caliber team than the Cleveland Browns?"@mikethemiz is a believer in his favorite team. pic.twitter.com/tA6MtqqZtx

For context, the Browns have the second-worst Super Bowl odds at +25000, according to DraftKings.
“Are you kidding me? When Shedeur Sanders takes over the starting quarterback, and he has all the plethora of draft picks that we have gotten, and we have Myles Garrett on defense, not to mention adding a Mason Graham at defensive tackle, the quarterbacks aren’t gonna be able to throw.”
The Miz definitely has a point regarding the defense. They added Graham and Carson Schwesinger in the draft and also signed Maliek Collins. And, of course, Garrett was signed to a massive extension.
The Miz then turned it over to the offense.
“So, what do we have at offense? Offense, we have two new running backs because we drafted them and they’re all fresh, they’re ready, they’re hungry, they’re dawgs and we have [David] Njoku, we have [Jerry] Jeudy, I mean, what else could you possibly want in a Super Bowl-caliber team than the Cleveland Browns? And not to mention a two-time, two-time Coach of the Year in Kevin Stefanski. Let’s go, baby!”
Will Sanders Become the Browns Starter?
The Miz’s prediction assumes Sanders will be the starting quarterback, but will he be?
Well, he’s on a depth chart with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel.
PFSN’s Ian Van Roy recently examined when Sanders could make his debut.
He mentioned that Sanders’s hardest hurdle is likely Flacco, who was 23rd in PFSN’s QB+ metric in 2024.
That said, even if Flacco won the job, Van Roy referenced Flacco’s time with the Denver Broncos in 2019 when he had eight starts as a bridge starter before turning over the reins to Drew Lock. Well, in 2025, the Browns have a Week 9 bye week, which lines up with as many starts he had that season with Denver.
It’ll be intriguing to see if Sanders, a fifth-round pick, can defy the odds and start games for the Browns this season, helping The Miz’s prediction come true.
