Kennedy Smith’s Star-Struck Moment Shows Her Relatable Side

SportsCentralLA posted a new “Sports Central Podcast” segment with the caption: “@k3nnedynicole tells @chrishayre she loves seeing Michael B. Jordan and all the celebrities at @uscwbb games.”

When Chris Hayre asked, “What’s the coolest moment that you’ve had where you’ve looked out and been like, oh my gosh, she’s here, or she’s here,” Kennedy Smith replied:

“I would definitely say Michael B. Jordan. I forget what game it was, but he came in before we went out for the warm-up, and I was just so starstruck.”

When Chris Hayre asked, “How many points did you have that game?” Kennedy Smith replied:

“I don’t know, but I hope it was a lot. I didn’t know that he was going to be there, so when he was there, it was just like, I’ve only seen you in Creed, and now I’m seeing you in person. It was crazy.”

This dialogue underlines Kennedy Smith’s honest admission that she and many others were utterly blown away by the actors’ courtside appearance during the Trojans’ contest against USC.

After an impressive freshman season, the 6-foot-1 sophomore from Chino, California, has become a key player for the Trojans. Smith averaged 9.5 points, 2.2 steals, and 4.3 rebounds per game while earning a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

During the recent administration, celebrity affection toward USC has leaped to a point unimaginable before. Among other things, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, and Chris Brown are some of the many stars that fans can witness at the Galen Center. It has become perhaps a hotspot for the celebs of Los Angeles who desire to go to the high level of women’s basketball, adorning the venue.
