‘All Blushy’ — Wings Star Paige Bueckers’ Expression Change After Mentioning Ex-UConn Teammate Azzi Fudd as Fans Convinced of Relationship Status

Did Paige Bueckers confirm something with that blush? And what’s with Azzi Fudd’s “girlfriend” phone case? Recent leaks has basketball fans speculating.

It has been a rather tough season, so far, for the Dallas Wings. But the 2025 WNBA Draft’s first overall pick, Paige Bueckers, continues to be smooth as ever. Through 16 games, the former UCOnn superstar is one of the most efficient midrange scorers in the league.

With 17.7 points and 5.8 assists per game, Bueckers continues to worry defenders without losing any momentum. She has been lethal from the elbows with jumpers like clockwork. But as the WNBA chaos continues, there has been some chatter about her personal life, and the Bueckers fandom could not be happier.

Fans Convinced of Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd Relationship After Viral “Blushing” Interview Moment

A few days ago, upcoming senior UConn guard Azzi Fudd took to Instagram to post a mirror selfie with a very interesting phone case that read, “Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend.” Since then, basketball fans have been gushing about the two.

In a recent interview, Bueckers pushed the rumors further after she was asked about how she picks out her game-day sneakers. Now, that is a pretty standard question. But the response had a fan clipping the moment and posting it on X, writing, “Okay Azzi, cute.”

In the video, Bueckers goes on to say, “I usually get like four, two, three, four, five, shoes grouped together, and then I actually call Azzi and have her help me pick them.”

Bueckers went on to add, “She’s (Azzi) been doing a good job of picking the prettiest ones. So Azzi’s instrumental in the process of picking. Yeah, Azzi’s like my basketball shoe stylist. I love that.” And that is all fans needed to hear and see.

“Omg she’s gone all blushy 😭,” one fan posted. One moment, Bueckers was calmly talking about shoes, and the next, fans had noted that her cheeks turned red as soon as she mentioned Fudd.

It is not at all surprising, considering the fact that Bueckers and Fudd go way back. The two were inseparable at UConn. Whether it was leading the Huskies to their first national title since 2016, starring in Oreo ads, or making TikToks, their bond has been strong as ever.

One fan even went on to write, “She has said multiple times she hates talking on the phone, but not when it comes to talking to her girl!” Fudd seems to always be there in moments that matter. In fact, when Bueckers got drafted, Fudd was there front and center.

At the WNBA Draft, Fudd was spotted in a glam black dress. With such a support system and adorable moments, it’s no surprise that a fan wrote, “cheeks bout red as h***😭.”

If that does not seem enough, at Bueckers’ recent WNBA game against the Connecticut Sun, Fudd showed up again. She was seen cheering Bueckers on. It was that very night that Fudd finally shared a photo with Bueckers, post-phone case reveal.

With Fudd staying back at UConn for one more run and Bueckers thriving in the WNBA, the world will likely see a lot more of them.

While the two haven’t explicitly stated whether they are an item or not, it has long been speculated. Social media posts “soft-launching” are occasionally posted, leaving fans scrambling for details.
