Caitlin Clark put on a show on Saturday as she dominated proceedings in the Indiana Fever’s season opener against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. The two-time WNBA All-Star caught the eye with her performance, but Bueckers had the last laugh as the Wings claimed a 107-104 win.

Clark scored 20 points on 7-of-18 shooting and also chipped in with 7 assists and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the Fever. A fan account shared a highlight of the Iowa Hawkeyes alum’s behind-the-back assist for Myisha Hines-Allen in the third quarter as the Fever attempted a comeback.

Clark brought the Fever back on level terms with a stunning spin and lay-up as Wings defenders struggled to keep pace with her.

Clark also reached the 1000-point milestone in the WNBA during the Fever’s season opener on Saturday. She became the eighth player to achieve the feat in 54 games or fewer. In addition, she became the fastest player to record 1000+ points, 250+ rebounds, and 250+ assists in the WNBA.
After suffering a narrow defeat at home in their first game of the season, the Indiana Fever will return to WNBA action on Wednesday when they take on the Los Angeles Sparks at the Crypto.com Arena.
