NBA legend Chris Bosh shared his predictions for the rest of the WNBA season, backing the Minnesota Lynx to win the championship.
However, the two-time NBA champion attracted criticism from the WNBA world for botching the names of phenoms Paige Bueckers and Olivia Miles.
Chris Bosh Under Fire After Embarrassing WNBA Analysis Goes Viral
On Sunday evening, Bosh posted a video on social media assessing the WNBA title contenders. The 11-time NBA All-Star praised the Lynx following their 85-77 win over the Dallas Wings and picked them to win it all.
However, Bosh also made a couple of noticeable gaffes during his video, pronouncing Bueckers’ name wrong and calling Miles “Olivia Miller.”
The WNBA world did not hold back, calling out Bosh’s errors.
“I’m sorry but I think it’s extremely disrespectful to pronounce their names incorrectly. I don’t need to hear anything else he has to say,” one user wrote on X.

NBA/WNBA podcaster Nekias Duncan also called out Bosh for getting Miles’ name wrong.

Some appreciated that Bosh was attempting to analyze the WNBA and help bring more eyes to the league, but they also called him out for not doing his research.

Some didn’t take the blunders too seriously, instead finding Bosh’s mistakes funny.

Bosh enjoyed a decorated NBA career that lasted 13 years. He was drafted by the Toronto Raptors in 2003 and joined the Heat alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, winning two NBA championships.
The Lynx currently boasts the WNBA’s best record at 15-4 behind the strong play of Miles, as the rookie sensation is averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game alongside Natasha Howard (17.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals), and Courtney Williams (15.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.2 steals).
