When Maryland faced off against the Northwestern Wildcats, Julian Reese rose to the occasion and led his team to victory on Senior Day. However, before the game, he had the support of his superstar sister with him.

In a video montage posted by Maryland on X, Angel Reese cherished her brother’s accomplishments. She reacted to the post as well, but her heartfelt words for her brother evoked strong emotions.

“JuJu, it’s your sister,” Angel Reese said. “I just wanna wish you a happy Senior Night. I’m sorry I can’t be there tonight but I’m really really really really super proud of you and all that you’ve done over four years.”

“You’ve created your own identity to who you are and what Julian Reese is. You represented Baltimore, you represented the city, you played in front of all our family, in front of our friends. Through all ups and downs, you stayed there, you stayed the course.”

The 2024 WNBA All-Star that has been kicking the hornet’s nest recently pointed out that she is proud to have a brother who has displayed loyalty at every turn and suggested that she has full faith that he will turn out to be a loyal individual on and off the court.

“The next level, I’m super excited for your next journey. You know your sister is always right there. I’m your No. 1 fan and you’re graduating this year too, so I’m super proud for that too,” she added.

Apart from Angel Reese, the Maryland forward received kudos from his mother and trainers as well in the video montage. His supporters kept reminding him of his achievements while pointing out that he must continue on his path during his last month in college as well.
