Wings Star Paige Bueckers Goes Viral For Ridiculous Statline That Made WNBA History in Loss to Fever

Paige Bueckers makes WNBA history with a flawless stat line in Wings’ loss to Fever, becoming the first ever to post those exact numbers.

Paige Bueckers made WNBA history Friday night, but the Dallas Wings couldn’t complete the comeback.

The No. 1 overall pick finished with 27 points, six assists, two steals, two blocks, and no turnovers in a 94-86 loss to the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center.

The Wings trailed 33-13 after the first quarter and clawed their way back within two, but couldn’t overcome the Fever’s efficient shooting and early lead. Despite the defeat, Bueckers’ stat line immediately went viral, marking the most complete performance of her young career.

Paige Bueckers’ Historic Night Sets a New WNBA Benchmark

In this game, Bueckers delivered a performance that blended offensive control, defensive versatility, and near-perfect efficiency.

She shot 9-of-18 from the field, 2-of-3 from deep, and made all seven of her free throws. She added a rebound and did not commit a single turnover in 36 minutes. Bueckers is averaging 17.7 points, 5.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game.

According to Polymarket Hoops, Bueckers became the first player in league history to post a game with 25+ points, five-plus assists, two-plus steals, two-plus blocks, and zero turnovers.

Wings Fall Short Despite Career Nights From Bueckers And Others

The Fever, even without star guard Caitlin Clark, raced to a 33-13 lead in the first quarter and never gave it up. Indiana shot 59.3% from the field compared to Dallas and outrebounded the Wings.

Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 32 points and seven assists. Her shotmaking kept Dallas at bay, even as the Wings cut the lead to single digits multiple times.

Bueckers wasn’t the only contributor for Dallas. Arike Ogunbowale finished with 15 points, while Aziaha James had 14, and Myisha Hines-Allen had nine. Still, the Wings dropped to 4-13 on the season and remained seventh in the Western Conference.

Bueckers may not celebrate the milestone in a loss, but her performance speaks for itself. She became the first to check every box in a stat line that’s never been achieved while playing turnover-free basketball. Dallas still has a long way to go, but its future is firmly built around a generational talent.

The city’s momentum is building. Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving were in attendance Friday, along with over 20,000 fans. The hype is very real, and it’s only growing louder with every game Bueckers plays. The Wings may not be winning yet, but they’ve found their franchise player.
