Entering Wednesday’s contest against Golden State, Clark was coming back from suffering a back injury. She has career averages of 18.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 8.3 assists across 72 career WNBA contests.

At halftime of Wednesday night’s game, the Valkyries led the Fever 40-30. Indiana entered the clash against Golden State sitting in first place in the Eastern Conference with a 14-9 record.

The Fever are a half-game up on the Atlanta Dream and 1.5 games above the Washington Mystics and the New York Liberty.

Before leaving the court, Clark made a pretty pass down the lane to a teammate and also caused a stir by screaming at a referee.

Fortunately for Indiana, Clark returned in the second half, giving the Fever a chance to come back from their halftime deficit and pad their lead atop the East.
