There’s perhaps no exaggeration in saying that Paige Bueckers is the only star in the WNBA who matches Caitlin Clark in popularity and stardom. Beyond the fame, Bueckers has also proven to be nearly as skilled as the Indiana Fever superstar. That was evident during the 2025 WNBA season when Bueckers shattered several of Clark’s previous records and went on to win the Rookie of the Year award.
Whenever Clark and Bueckers share the same court, fans take notice. Their first WNBA matchup drew 2.7 million viewers, making it the fourth most-watched regular-season game of the 2025 season. Now, Clark and Bueckers are teaming up once again.
Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers Link Up at Team USA Camp
Clark and Bueckers were spotted working together during the United States women’s national basketball team training camp in Miami ahead of the upcoming FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
A clip shared on X by the Clark Reports account captured a smooth on-court sequence between the two guards. In the video, Bueckers delivered a pass to Clark, who confidently knocked down a deep shot, which has become a signature part of the Fever star’s game.

Both players are part of the 12-player roster representing Team USA in the qualifying tournament, which will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from March 11–17.
The tournament will also mark the senior national team debut for both Clark and Bueckers. They will share the court with several experienced international veterans, including Olympic gold medalists Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, and Jackie Young.
Clark and Bueckers are not strangers as teammates. The duo previously played together for Team USA during the 2019 FIBA Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.
While Bueckers enjoyed a standout rookie season, Clark’s sophomore campaign was disrupted by injuries. The Fever guard appeared in just 13 games before being sidelined, leading to an eight-month gap from competitive basketball.
Clark recently acknowledged that returning to game action might take a brief adjustment period.
“It’ll probably take me a second to knock a little bit of the rust off,” Clark said Saturday. “I’ll probably be a little bit nervous, which I usually don’t get nervous, but that probably comes from I haven’t really played basketball in a while.”
She added that the excitement of returning to the court outweighs any nerves.
“I’m sure after the first minute of running around on the court, I’ll be just fine. But more than anything, just really excited. I know how much work and how much time I put in to make sure my body’s as healthy as it can be and to get back.”
Clark and Bueckers will begin their international campaign when Team USA faces the Senegal women’s national basketball team on March 11 in San Juan.
