10. Jordin Canada (Los Angeles Sparks)
Jordin Canada, known for her defensive prowess and playmaking, she led the WNBA in steals in 2019 and 2023, earning All-Defensive First Team honors both years. In 2023 with the Sparks, she averaged career-highs of 13.3 points, 6 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game, with a 35% three-point shooting rate. Her specialties include elite defense, speed, and facilitating, with standout crossover skills.
9. Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings)
Paige Bueckers was the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft and played in her first regular season game as part of a decent debut. She was a star at UConn and won a national title. Fans loved her preseason pass to Arike Ogunbowale. Most GMs think she’ll win Rookie of the Year. Her smart play and calm under pressure could help turn things around for Dallas.
8. Natasha Cloud (New York Liberty)
Natasha Cloud plays tough defense and brings energy to the Liberty’s backcourt. She won a title with them in 2024 and helps lead the team with her strong voice and hustle. While she doesn’t score a lot, her defense and leadership make her key to the Liberty’s hopes of repeating as champions.
7. Courtney Vandersloot (Chicago Sky)
Courtney Vandersloot is back with the Sky after winning a title with the Liberty in 2024. She’s known for her excellent passing and helps young players like Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso get better. Even at 36 years old, Vandersloot’s court vision and leadership make her a very important part of Chicago’s team.
6. Kelsey Plum (Los Angeles Sparks)
Kelsey Plum, a two-time WNBA champion, was traded to the Sparks after a hard 2024 season, both on and off the court. She’s a great scorer and brings a winning attitude to a team that went 8–32 last year. Teaming up again with Dearica Hamby, Plum hopes to lead the Sparks back into the playoffs with a fresh start in L.A.
5. Skylar Diggins-Smith (Seattle Storm)
Skylar Diggins-Smith is a six-time All-Star and a smart, experienced guard. She leads Seattle’s backcourt now that Jewell Loyd is gone. Playing alongside Nneka Ogwumike and Gabby Williams, Skylar’s passing and scoring help keep Seattle in the playoff race. Coaches and GMs still see her as one of the best point guards, and her leadership could help the Storm win close road games.
4. Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings)
Arike Ogunbowale was the second-best scorer in the WNBA in 2024, averaging 22.2 points per game. She’s had MVP votes every season and led the league in steals last year. Arike is the top player on the Wings and now has rookie star Paige Bueckers as a teammate. If she improves her shot choices, she could help Dallas win more after a tough 9-win season in 2024.
3. Jackie Young (Las Vegas Aces)
Jackie Young is an All-WNBA guard who helped the Aces win titles in 2022 and 2023. Her numbers dropped a bit in 2024 because of team injuries, but with Chelsea Gray back, she’s expected to shine again. She recently scored 28 points in a preseason game. Jackie plays strong defense and can score in many ways, which is why she was voted one of the top guards in the league.
2. Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever)
Caitlin Clark won Rookie of the Year in 2024 after an exciting season where she averaged 19.2 points and 8.4 assists. She even had the first rookie triple-double in WNBA history. Clark is known for her deep three-point shots and great passing, and she’s expected to get even better in her second season.
1. Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces)
Chelsea Gray is a three-time WNBA champion and six-time All-Star. She’s known as the “Point Gawd” because of her great passing and strong defense, especially in big moments. Even after dealing with injuries in 2024, she was still voted the league’s best point guard by half the coaches and GMs in 2025. Now healthy, she’s ready to lead the Aces again, this time with help from new teammate Jewell Loyd.
