That said, this isn’t new territory for White. During Game 1 of the playoffs against the Atlanta Dream, White received another technical for contesting a no-call when Dream guard Rhyne Howard grabbed Shey Peddy under the basket.

Likewise, earlier in the season, on Jul. 3, 2025, in a commanding 81-54 win over the Aces, she was assessed a technical foul for arguing with an official late in the game. The Fever have consistently criticized officiating this season, making White’s comments part of a broader narrative rather than an isolated incident.

Aces Bounce Back With a Commanding Win Amid White’s Frustration

While Fever’s coach was frustrated over the officiating, the Aces came into Game 2 determined to flip the script. Playing at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, they used their home-court advantage to full effect.

Aliyah Boston, anchoring the defense, had locked Wilson to just 16 points in Game 1, but the reigning WNBA MVP made no mistake in Game 2.
