Caitlin Clark’s cryptic social media activity garnered excitement within the sneaker community ahead of the launch of her signature shoe with Nike.

The wait is almost over for Caitlin Clark fans, as she appears to be hinting at the launch of her signature shoe with Nike.

The Indiana Fever superstar is reportedly on an eight-year deal worth $28 million with the sportswear brand, and her highly anticipated signature shoe appears set to launch soon.

Caitlin Clark Teases the Drop of Her Signature Nike Shoe

To prepare for what appears to be the launch of her signature shoe, Clark has changed her Instagram handle to “caitlin1” and her profile picture to a close-up of the shoe’s material.

Sneaker enthusiasts on social media shared their excitement at Clark dropping hints about the launch of her signature shoe in the coming months.

Sole Retriever shared news of the impending arrival of Clark’s signature shoe on X.

“IT’S TIME: Caitlin Clark changed her Instagram handle to Caitlin1 and updated her profile picture. The Nike Caitlin 1 rollout appears to be underway,” they wrote.

Another sneaker news account shared Oct. 1 as a possible date for the launch of the Iowa alum’s signature shoe, and included a quote from Clark: “The technology we’re putting into my shoe isn’t anything Nike has ever put into a basketball shoe before.”

“Caitlin Clark confirms her signature shoe, the Nike Caitlin 1, is coming ‘very very very soon.’ October 1st” JustFreshKicks wrote on X.

Sept. 29 has also been floated as a potential release date.

The account KicksFinder also shared its excitement at Clark’s recent Instagram activity.

“OFFICIAL ROLLOUT: The rollout for Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe, the Nike Caitlin 1, has started as she changed her Instagram username and profile picture. October 1st, 2026,” they wrote.

Nice Kicks also posted about Clark’s social media changes.

“Nike has begun Caitlin Clark’s signature sneaker roll out. Her IG handle has been changed to caitlin1 and her profile picture shows a blue c-shaped material,” they wrote.

Nike announced in August 2025 that Clark would be the brand’s latest signature athlete and unveiled her logo. A signature apparel collection featuring the interlocking Cs logo was released in October, and her long-awaited shoe is now set to debut in the coming months.
