The Seattle Storm finished with the fifth-best record in the WNBA last season, and although the team failed to make it out of the first round of the playoffs, there was plenty of talent and potential across the lineup. They retained the 2024 roster’s core and will be looking to build on their solid 25-win season in 2025.
Seattle Storm 2025 Roster and Depth Charts
Head coach Noelle Quinn was a member of the Seattle team that won the franchise’s first and only championship back in 2018. She transitioned into a coaching role the following season and, after working her way up the ladder, was named the team’s head coach in 2021.
Quinn enters her fourth season with a win percentage of .521 (74-68), with the 40-year-old coach’s best finish coming in 2022 when Breanna Stewart, Jewell Loyd, and Sue Bird guided the team to the semifinal stage.
This season, keep an eye out for guard Skylar Diggins and forward Nneka Ogwumike. Both players averaged over 15 points per game last season, and with Loyd moving to the Las Vegas Aces, they should take on a greater role. Center Dominique Malonga, the second pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, is also an exciting prospect for whom the organization has high hopes.

Seattle Storm Projected Starting Lineup
One of the team’s key starters, Loyd, signed with the Aces this offseason, and losing one of the league’s top players will be tough for the Storm. In 2024, Loyd ranked first in Seattle’s roster in points (19.7) and third in rebounds (4.5) and assists (3.6).
Season-ending injuries to guards Horston and Mühl make coach Quinn’s job very challenging. The Storm selected three guards in the 2025 WNBA Draft, giving the team some depth at the position.
Diggins will likely be one of the starting guards, with Brown or Williams most likely filling in as the No. 2 guard. Ogwumike will start at the forward position, and veteran Clark will most likely accompany her. After a strong year where she led the lineup in rebounds and blocks, Magbegor should be the team’s starting center over 19-year-old rookie Malonga.
Seattle Storm’s Key Players
Diggins is one of the team’s most experienced players, and the 34-year-old will take the lead in a new-look lineup that should see the rookie class get plenty of minutes. She is a six-time All-Star and a four-time All-WNBA first-team selection. The guard is also coming off a strong Unrivaled tournament in Miami, which should give her plenty of confidence going into the new year.
