Ahead of the 2026 All-Star festivities this weekend, Caitlin Clark shared her thoughts on Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles’ transition to the professional league.
The star guard praised Miles and called her playmaking “flawless.”
“I have always been a fan of hers, even when she was in college,” Clark said. “When you watch her, she just plays with incredible pace. It’s never too fast, never too slow. It’s fast at the right moments and slow at the right moments.”

“She makes the right read. Obviously, Cheryl [Reeve] has done an incredible job with that team, putting everyone in a position to succeed. But she plays the pick-and-roll really well.”
“She’s creative. You can see her creative juices flowing on the floor,” Clark added. “I think that’s the beautiful thing about being a point guard…I always tell people, ‘I’m not really a creative person, but I am at the same time. My creativity just comes out on the court,’ and I feel it’s the same for her. So, it’s been really fun to watch her.”

“The way she [Miles] has come into the league is pretty flawless,” Clark continued. “She sets her teammates up for success. The exciting part is that there are still so many ways for her game to grow, which is maybe scary for the rest of the league… just really cool. I’m excited to be her teammate this weekend. She’s been killing it.”
Since her early exit in 2025 due to injury, Clark has been highly anticipated this season. She recently posted a historic 45 points and 10 assists against the Seattle Storm, becoming the first WNBA player ever to record a 40-10 line.
In 23 games so far, Clark is averaging 21.0 points, 7.9 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 43.5%.
Lynx guard Miles is also leading a record-breaking rookie campaign. In 26 games, she has averaged 19.3 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 49.4% from the field and 35.8% from beyond the arc.
The 23-year-old recently scored a career-high 33 points in a 104-100 win over the Phoenix Mercury.
