‘MAD LOVE’ — Rapper Kid Cudi Is All Smiles While Getting Caitlin Clark’s Autograph at Fever’s Practice

Rapper Kid Cudi recently shared a special moment with Fever standout Caitlin Clark during a recent Indiana Fever practice visit.

The Indiana Fever are coming off a much-needed 78-76 win over the Washington Mystics. This win improved their record to 6-5 on the season.

While the victory was important, many fans are still concerned about how the team will perform in the coming weeks as they continue to deal with inconsistent results. However, one celebrity fan had plenty to smile about recently.

Kid Cudi’s Recent Post After Meeting the Indiana Fever Team

Rapper Kid Cudi (real name: Scott Mescudi) recently paid a visit to an Indiana Fever practice session and appeared to have a great time with the team. The Cleveland-born artist later took to Instagram to share a series of photos from his visit.

There was a picture showing him proudly holding a basketball signed by Fever star Caitlin Clark. Judging by the photos, Cudi was all smiles after receiving Clark’s autograph.

“MAD LOVE to the entire @indianafever team and staff for being so awesome and letting me come by today!!! This was a big deal for me, as Ive been wanting to meet the ladies for awhile now, so as soon as I was in town, I had to make it happen. FEVER LETS GET IT!!! Haha lil inside joke w me and the team,” Cudi wrote as the caption of the post.

This is actually pretty on-brand for Cudi. He is known to visit sports organizations in the cities he tours through. His next show is just in a few hours at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, which is right outside Indianapolis. So of course he was going to swing by.

Just last month, he did something similar when he visited a Cincinnati Bengals workout. He showed up to the team facility wearing a custom No. 84 jersey, which got a lot of attention.

As for Clark, getting her autograph has become a special moment for many fans. However, recently, much of the discussion around Clark has focused on her performances on the court. Through 10 games this season, she has averaged 18.7 points, 7.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game.

While those numbers are below the standards many fans expect from her, Clark showed signs of improvement in Indiana’s last game. Against Washington, she finished with 19 points, three rebounds, and five assists.

If we look at the game, the Fever led by 5 points after the first quarter and by 14 at halftime. Although Washington fought back in the second half, the Fever scored 35 points after the break and held on for the two-point win.

Now, Indiana will quickly turn its attention to its next challenge, as it faces the Chicago Sky on June 11.
