‘Most Entertaining Watch by Far’ — Analyst Crowns Caitlin Clark’s Surging Fever WNBA’s Top Draw, Points to 1 Star Who Could Rival Them

The Fever are an offensive juggernaut under Caitlin Clark, and one analyst deems them and Lynx rookie Olivia Miles as the league's top draw.

Caitlin Clark continues tearing through opposing defenses and putting up the production to fuel the Indiana Fever’s season.

The Fever superstar recorded another double-double Tuesday night, pushing Indiana past the New York Liberty in a 106-92 win. Clark manipulated the pick-and-roll with precision and buried timely shots to extinguish every Liberty rally, drawing praise from a well-known sports personality.

Skip Bayless Highlights Caitlin Clark, Fever’s Record-Breaking Offensive Surge

Indiana bounced off New York with a relentless perimeter attack, proving they can outscore anyone in the league. Clark finished with 22 points and 10 assists, continuing her historic pace for point-assist double-doubles in the league (9 games this season).

Kelsey Mitchell flanked Clark perfectly, maintaining her own incredible scoring streak, logging her 17th consecutive game with 20 or more points.

Despite the off-court controversies, the Fever franchise is putting up jaw-dropping offensive numbers this season.

Stephanie White’s squad averages roughly 96 points per contest, placing them among the most potent units the league has seen. They play incredibly fast, space the floor perfectly, and punish defensive mistakes almost immediately.

Veteran analyst Skip Bayless captured the general sentiment about Indiana’s lethal offense perfectly while also highlighting one player who could rival such entertainment value.

“The Fever are now AVERAGING nearly 100 a game,” Bayless wrote. “Big 3 from 3 tonight vs hot Liberty: 11-17 from 3. Indy is the W’s most entertaining watch by far — though Olivia might argue.”

The nod to Olivia Miles highlights the other on-court subplot dominating the WNBA season right now.

The Minnesota Lynx rookie is enjoying a remarkable debut campaign. Drafted second overall after a productive stint at TCU, Miles has seamlessly slotted into the primary creation role for Minnesota.

She recently dropped 26 points against the Las Vegas Aces in a 98-87 win, then followed it up with a 20-point, 13-assist double-double against the Dallas Wings.

The statistical production from Miles borders on the absurd: She is averaging 20.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 50.3% from the floor and 40.3% from deep.

Meanwhile, the Fever fans are being treated to a relatively healthy version of Clark, who is averaging over 21 points and 8 assists. The Indiana superstar recently became the fastest player in league history to reach 200 career three-pointers (74 games) and also the first player to post a 40-point, 10-assist game (vs. Seattle Storm).

With the way the two players are putting up numbers, perhaps the schedule makers are making fans wait too long for another head-to-head matchup, as Indiana won’t play Minnesota until late September.
