    Los Angeles Sparks Preseason Schedule

    The Sparks will play just one preseason game in 2025 — a key opportunity for new players to build chemistry and for fans to get a first look at the team in action.

    That game is set for Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. PDT, when the Sparks take on the Valkyries at Chase Center in San Francisco. It marks Golden State’s first game in WNBA history and could be the start of a California rivalry between the two teams.

    Key Matchups

    The Los Angeles Sparks’ 2025 season includes several big matchups fans won’t want to miss.

    On May 16, the Sparks will face the Valkyries in their first-ever regular-season game, sparking a new in-state rivalry.

    Another highlight comes on June 29, when the Sparks will retire franchise legend Candace Parker’s No. 3 jersey during a game against the Chicago Sky, honoring her huge impact on the team’s history.

    On July 29, the Sparks take on the Las Vegas Aces, led by star forward A’ja Wilson. The Aces are among the league’s top teams and should provide a big test.

    Then, on August 12, the Sparks will host the 2024 WNBA champion New York Liberty in one of the season’s most anticipated games.
