If you have some time to kill, go and take a look at the lengthy list of standing records that Caitlin Clark holds at the collegiate and professional level. At just 23, the Indiana Fever superstar has put together an admirable career that most veterans would envy.
However, this week, it was one of Clark’s Indiana teammates, Chloe Bibby, who was attracting all the attention after hitting an impressive milestone that hasn’t been achieved by any Fever player since 2008.
How Did Chloe Bibby Make Indiana Fever History in Her First Three Games?
As per a post uploaded by the Indiana Fever, Bibby, a 27-year-old rookie, became the first Fever player since 2008 to hit multiple 3-pointers in her first three games for the franchise. This accomplishment put her in rare company, achieving something that even Clark couldn’t match during her debut stretch.
The feat was last achieved by former WNBA guard/forward Katie Douglas, who recorded three 3-pointers in each of her first three games of the 2008 season. Douglas followed that up with two more in her fourth game of the season against the Los Angeles Sparks, going on to record 11 threes in her first four games with Indiana.

Bibby, who played just six minutes during the Fever’s 88-78 win over the Dallas Wings on Friday, kept her streak alive when she converted her second three with just under five minutes remaining in the second quarter. Overall, she went 2-for-3 from behind the arc in the victory.

In her first-ever game for the Fever, Bibby recorded two 3-pointers against the Chicago Sky on June 27. She followed that up with two more during a win over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday, building momentum with each appearance.
However, every basket carried extra weight for Bibby. The rookie forward is still trying to prove herself at the highest level after a challenging start to her WNBA career.
Bibby was waived by the Golden State Valkyries earlier in the season, leaving the former Maryland star without a team midway through the 2025 campaign.
The Fever jumped in to secure Bibby on a seven-day contract on July 25. While she would’ve been thrilled to sign a contract, seven days doesn’t provide much job security. The Australian forward knew she needed to make an impact quickly if she wanted to stick around.
What followed were strong shooting displays from Bibby. It started with eight points and two rebounds against the Sky, which she followed with a 10-point outing against the Mercury. Over those two games, she shot 50% from the perimeter (4-of-8) and 85.7% from the free-throw line (6-of-7).
Bibby grabbed her opportunity with both hands and was rewarded for her hard work in the best possible way. On August 1, the Fever confirmed they had signed Bibby until the end of the season.
Last season, Clark was lights out for the Fever, shooting an incredible 34.4% from the 3-point line and converting a WNBA single-season record of 122 3-pointers. With Clark sidelined, Bibby could be in line to play a bigger role over the next few weeks.
Her long-range shooting could turn out to be a vital asset for coach Stephanie White and the Fever as they push through this stretch.

GL Baller Bibby!
