How did Caitlin Clark perform against Czechia at the FIBA World Cup? Here's a look at the Team USA star's stats and highlights.

Caitlin Clark and Team USA faced Czechia in their third game of the FIBA Women’s World Cup preliminary round.

Team USA clinched an emphatic 105-64 win, with Clark playing a vital role off the bench.

A Look at Caitlin Clark’s Performance for Team USA Against Czechia

After a narrow win over Italy on Sunday, Team USA delivered a much more dominant performance against Czechia. After the blowout win, Team USA will now face Hungary or Japan in the quarterfinals.

Looking to recover from her disappointing 1-point showing against Italy, Clark delivered a much-improved performance for the United States. The Indiana Fever star had 9 points, 7 assists, 1 rebound, and 2 turnovers in 21 minutes off the bench. She also had a +/- of +22, trailing only Paige Bueckers in the stat.

Clark shot 3-of-8 from the floor and just 1-of-6 from three-point range, so it wasn’t the most efficient performance. Despite her shooting struggles from beyond the arc, the 24-year-old showcased excellent playmaking and improved defensive play to help her team clinch a vital win.

Breanna Stewart led Team USA in scoring on Monday as she grabbed 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting. The New York Liberty star also had 6 assists and 7 rebounds in the resounding win.

Some of Clark’s noteworthy highlights included her shrewd pass to Angel Reese in the fourth quarter with Team USA on the verge of victory.

Clark also helped set up Stewart to help underline Team USA’s dominance late in the second quarter, and then made a tough shot over two defenders late in the third quarter.

The performance will give Clark some much-needed confidence after her struggles against Italy. The 6-foot-0 guard went 0-of-6 from the field against Italy and had just 1 point to her name as Team USA eked out a narrow 55-52 win.
