The “New Heights” podcast has finally brought their most requested guest on. None other than 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift is set to join her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce for her first appearance on the podcast.
“Swifties,” as the members of her mammoth fan base calls themselves, are ecstatic over the news. This will be her first public interview since winning Time’s Person of the Year in 2023, and it also provided a rare window into her relationship with Travis.
While Caitlin Clark has been a fan of the singer for quite some time now, the two have also seemed to become friends since the Indiana Fever star attended Swift’s Eras Tour shows in November 2024. So Clark is justifiably excited for the episode.
What Did Caitlin Clark Say About the Taylor Swift Episode?
The Indiana Fever guard took to X as the hours counted down to the episode, which is set to drop at 7 p.m. ET, to ask a question that might seem funny but could prove prescient due to Swift’s massive fanbase worldwide.
Are we sure YouTube isn’t going to crash tonight? 😅

It is being speculated the episode could break the record for the most views in the first 24 hours, a title previously held by Donald Trump’s interview with Joe Rogan. The immense excitement from both Swifties and Kansas City Chiefs fans have created a perfect storm for a record-breaking cultural moment, prompting Clark to raise the question.
Swift’s fandom is no joke. Last December, she wrapped up The Eras tour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities and five continents and became the world’s first music tour to gross over $2 billion.
In a teaser for the episode, Swift also announced her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” This has added to the social media frenzy, building anticipation for a much-awaited episode as the singer’s fans instantly flock to her album drops.
Her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, set a record with 1.76 billion streams globally within the first week alone. But it appears this time, Swift could be setting a record on YouTube.
Clark’s excitement doesn’t solely stem from Swift’s appearance, as the Fever guard is also a long-time Chiefs fan. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Clark grew up about three hours from Kansas City and has been a Chiefs fan even before Travis was on the team.
With the episode just minutes away, Clark would surely be awaiting the release and hoping YouTube does not end up crashing on her.
