WATCH: Caitlin Clark Arrives at Fever-Mystics Game on Baby Duty While Sidelined With Quad Injury

Caitlin Clark shows up with a baby in hand before Fever-Mystics game, creating a viral moment and sparking fan reactions.

Caitlin Clark arrived ready for a WNBA matchup between the Indiana Fever and the Washington Mystics. Known for rocking stylish game-day outfits before putting on a show on the court, Clark turned heads this time for a different reason.

Caitlin Clark Has a New Job

The team announced on May 25 that Clark suffered a left quadriceps strain and will be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks. While this is a tough setback for any professional athlete, Clark appears to be in good spirits as she focuses on her rehab and works toward a return to the court.

In a post shared by Yahoo Sports, Clark was seen strolling into CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, carrying an adorable baby in her arms. The moment quickly caught fire on social media, and fans wasted no time sharing their reactions.

One user took to X to share his thoughts saying, “Somebody should told her BF that she’s got baby fever.” A play on words to describe the Fever guard wanting a cute little baby of her own.

Brian7879 shared, “Clark is a great role model for females.” This sentiment is true, Clark is a great role model because she’s redefining what’s possible for women in sports—by excelling on the court, staying true to herself, and paving the way for the next generation of young women in sports.

Another post hilariously pointed out, “Loving Caitlin on baby duty, but I thought that was only for rookies?” A valid question because usually rookies have to do team chores. But maybe baby duty is seen as a job only held for the esteemed and worthy for the Indiana Fever.

This hasn’t been her first viral moment with a baby. She has been involved with babies in a few different ways. She’s been seen caring for a baby while posing for photos before a game, and she also signed a two-week-old baby’s onesie at a Fever event.

While Clark may be turning heads off the court, her focus remains on returning to help her team rack up much-needed wins. The Fever dropped their second straight game—and their first without their star guard—highlighting just how much they rely on her presence.

This team goes as Clark goes, and with rumors suggesting she could be sidelined for two weeks or longer, Indiana will need someone to step up in her absence.
