Caitlin Clark Shares an Adorable Moment With Indiana Friend Tyrese Haliburton’s Girlfriend and Father

Indiana basketball stars Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton are known to support each other, and Clark continued the trend with a nice moment Tuesday night.

An X user posted a video showing Clark going out of her way to greet and hug Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones, and father, John, before Haliburton’s playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Clark and several Indiana Fever teammates made an appearance at the Pacers’ second game of the first-round series, which Indiana won 123-115.

Caitlin Clark, Fever prepare for 2025 season

Clark and the Fever tip off the WNBA preseason on May 3 against the Washington Mystics and begin the regular season May 17 against Angel Reese and the Sky. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft, Clark led the Fever to the playoffs, winning Rookie of the Year and being named to both the WNBA All-Star and first All-WNBA teams. Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game in 2024 after rising to international prominence in college with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Fever made several key additions over the offseason. DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard, veterans with sterling WNBA records, signed as free agents, as did the popular Sydney Colson, while Sophie Cunningham was added via trade with Phoenix. Bonner and Howard are projected to start alongside Clark and fellow Pacers game attendees Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston.

Haliburton leads Pacers to 2-0 series lead

Indiana’s other team raced to a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, as Haliburton led the Pacers with 12 assists and added 21 points. Pascal Siakam led the team in scoring for the second consecutive game, posting 24 and also grabbing 11 rebounds, while the Pacers shot 44.4% from deep and a perfect 19-19 at the free throw line. Damian Lillard made his return from a serious calf injury for Milwaukee, scoring 14 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 34 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Haliburton produced an inspired performance for the Pacers after being voted the league’s most overrated player in an anonymous player poll conducted by The Athletic. Coming on the heels of a 12-point, 3-13 shooting effort in game one, it was a particularly timely moment for the Pacers’ two-time All-Star. Haliburton threw down a sensational dunk in the second quarter, which brought Jade and John out of their seats—for at least the second time that night.

With Clark watching, the series moves to Milwaukee as the Pacers try to slam the door shut on the Bucks. Game three is Friday, April 25 at 8 p.m.
