Caitlin Clark has been a dominant force for the WNBA and women’s sports. But the point guard has her own heroes, and it’s no surprise that she admires tennis legend Serena Williams.
The former WTA No. 1 has previously supported the Indiana Fever rookie and may do so again as Clark gets closer to fulfilling a personal wish.
Caitlin Clark and Serena Williams Set To Dine Together
On March 9, Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, took to X to share that his prediction — that WNBA Prizm cards would become more expensive than NBA Prizm cards — had come true. In response, a user posted a clip of Clark.
In the video, Clark says her dream celebrity dinner would be with Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion. Ohanian, who married Williams in 2017 and has two daughters with her, wasted no time extending an invitation by tagging Clark on X.

Fans are eager to see them meet, with Williams potentially hosting the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year. While Clark has yet to respond to the invite on X, it wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine she’d be excited to share a meal with Williams.
Williams Enters Clark’s World With a Stake in a WNBA Team
Last year, the WNBA announced its expansion, with its 14th franchise set to be based in Toronto. Williams, 43, will be part of the Toronto Tempo’s ownership group.
“I am thrilled to announce my ownership role in the first Canadian WNBA team, the Toronto Tempo,” Williams said in a statement. “This moment is not just about basketball; it is about showcasing the true value and potential of female athletes — I have always said that women’s sports are an incredible investment opportunity.”

With this move, Williams expands her sports ownership portfolio. The four-time Olympic gold medalist already holds stakes in the National Women’s Soccer League’s Angel City FC, the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, and the TGL’s Los Angeles Golf Club.
