In late April 2025, Gia Guddy, social media influencer and former girlfriend of Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis, found herself at the center of a controversy involving rumors that she was hanging out with Titans players.
Not a big deal, right? Well, it became a big deal when Duddy decided to fight back on social media and insult the entire journalism profession.
The Incident at Barstool Nashville Bar
Influencer RJ Ellison posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he had encountered Duddy with Titans players T’Vondre Sweat, Jeffery Simmons, and Arden Key at the Barstool Nashville Bar. Ellison shared a photo featuring the three players, but Duddy was nowhere to be found in the picture despite Ellison’s claim she had been hanging out with the Titans players.
Ellison wrote: “I Really Might Be The Voice of Nashville.”
Duddy responded by reposting the photo with the caption: “Journalism is literally dead/ I’m not even in this photo or with them … y’all just love a story. Embarrassing.”

Who Is Gia Duddy?
Duddy gained public attention during the 2023 NFL Draft when her reactions to Levis’ unexpected slide in the draft went viral. The couple first met at Penn State, then started dating for around three years before reportedly splitting in September 2023.
Following their breakup, Levis was linked to “Bachelor” alum Victoria Fuller, though that relationship also ended in April 2025. They quietly ended their brief romance in the fall and the split was called “amicable,” according to the New York Post.Â
Meanwhile, Duddy relocated to Nashville in May 2023 after graduating from Penn State. She has since built a following as a lifestyle influencer while talking candidly about the challenges she faced following her breakup with Levis. She described the past year as the “most difficult and transformative year of my life.”Â
The timing of the rumor coincided with the Titans’ selection of quarterback Cam Ward as the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, casting uncertainty on Levis’ future with the team. The combination of professional challenges for Levis and personal rumors involving Duddy has intensified media scrutiny around both individuals.
Levis, drafted 33rd overall by the Titans in 2023, entered the NFL with high expectations and made his first career start on Oct. 29, 2023, against Atlanta. He completed 19-of-29 passes for 238 yards with four touchdowns for a 130.5 passer rating in his debut.
However, it’s been a bit of a struggle since his debut. The 25-year-old has thrown for 3,899 yards and 21 touchdowns (16 interceptions) while posting a dismal 5-16 record in 21 starts with a 61% completion percentage over two seasons in Tennessee.
Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi stated that the team made “no effort” to trade Levis during the draft and emphasized that Ward would face competition for the starting role. This suggests that, at least publicly, the Titans are keeping their options open regarding the quarterback position.
