During a few weeks of the NFL Regular season, you might notice something interesting. Players will be wearing their own custom, colorful cleats. This is made possible through a partnership with My Cause My Cleats. Below is more information about the wonderful cause.
What is My Cause My Cleats?
According to their official website, “My Cause My Cleats is a player-led initiative where players, coaches, and staff wear custom-designed cleats to spotlight the causes and nonprofits they care about most.”
Below are some of the cleats that players will be wearing this year and their causes:
Jordan Love and Micah Parsons
Jordan Love’s cleats are partnered with the Guiding Youth Program. The organization helps young people get away from gangs, drugs, and violence through sports, education, and mentorship by connecting the police, community leaders, and the youth.
Micah Parsons’ cleats represent the Lionheart Foundation, which transforms lives through education and self-empowerment. The organization supports incarcerated adults, at-risk youth, and caregivers in their healing and growth.
Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, Cooper DeJean, and DeVonta Smith
Jalen Hurts’ cleats are in collaboration with his very own Jalen Hurts Foundation. The goal of the organization is to strengthen the communities that Hurts has been a part of by providing resources, programs, and support that will help the youth.
AJ Brown’s cleats are also in collaboration with his very own AJ Brown Foundation. The organization creates pathways for the youth to build resilience and confidence for a brighter future.

Cooper DeJean’s cleats are in collaboration with his alma mater, the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital. The hospital is Iowa’s only comprehensive children’s hospital, offering pediatric care for a wide range of conditions.
DeVonta Smith’s cleats are in collaboration with the Eagles Autism Foundation. The foundation researches autism, as well as builds advocacy and awareness. Their goal is to create a more inclusive world.
