Before kickoff at 7:15 p.m., the national anthem will ͏be ͏performed by Milwaukee native and accomplished trumpet player Augie Haas. His appearance adds a hometown connection to the primetime setting, bringing an artist with both local roots and national experience back to Wisconsin.

According to the Packers’ official gameday release, Haas will deliver the anthem ahead of a scheduled flyover by F-35 aircrafts from the 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
In an interview with Bold Journey, Haas explained the importance of creativity in his work, saying, “I think the best way to keep your creativity alive is to surround yourself by people who inspire you. I believe it leaves you thirsting to want to be better and always push yourself creatively and as an artist.”
His words reflect a mindset that fits the challenge of delivering a live anthem performance on one of football’s biggest stages.
Haas’s career has taken him far beyond his Milwaukee roots. He studied at the Chicago College of Performing Arts and earned both a master’s and doctorate at the University of Miami.
During his time in Miami, he gained ͏key opportunities, performing with Rihanna ͏and touring with͏ Pitbull at the start of his career. He ͏went on to collaborate with͏ seven-time Grammy winner Maria͏ Schneider,͏ a move that eventually led him to New York ͏City.
Once in͏ New York, Ha͏as balanced touring with artists like ͏Harry Conn͏ic͏k Jr. while building a Broadway career. Today, ͏he plays͏ in͏ the ͏orchestra for the Broadway production ͏of ͏Aladdin, while ͏also pursuing his ͏own projects.
The variety of experiences has kept him in constant motion and, as he described, helped him embrace the act of creating over chasing perfection. “My favorite part of any process is the creating of something new and not necessarily the finished product,” Haas explained.
For Packers fans, ͏his performance carries extra weight. It is part of ͏a broader evening that includes͏ a 9/11 ͏tribute, a halftime ceremony honoring Pro Football Hall of ͏Farmer Sterl͏ing Sh͏ar͏pe, and an atmosphere designed to engage both players and ͏supporters through coordinated lighting, whiteout attire ͏and fireworks.
